Beep beep. The alarm rang. Beep beep."Ughhhh!" Moredcai moaned. He switched off his alarm with his eyes closed.

He yawned and straightened himself, wiping his eyes.

"Come on Rigby! It's time to wake up, man," he yelled. Rigby didn't react nor move. This made Mordecai stand up and pull off the dirty clothes that he used as a blanket.

"Mmmmm!" Rigby covered himself with his one or his old, worn out hoodies. "I'm too tired!"
"There's no time to be tired. Benson's gonna be super angry with us, dude. This is the first time we're actually early. Now stop being lazy and wake up."

Everyone was up early. They all sat on the white stare case outside the house. Benson looked really tense, pacing the whole time.
The weather didn't really help it either. It was blazing hot, making him stress even more.
Everyone noticed. Skips started, "Uhh, are you okay, Benson? You look tense."
He looked and replied, "No. I'm not okay. Listen guys, I have some bad news. We might lose the park. I don't know if we can save it."
Everyone gasped. "Bad show! Jolly bad show!" Pops cried. Mordecai's eyes widened.
"No it can't be! There's gotta be a way," Rigby said afterwards. "No way bro. How can this be?!"
Benson looked down with his arms crossed.

"Mayllard is deep in debt and it turns out that the only way to repay it is by selling the park."

Benson tried his best not to show any signs of sadness. Pops walked up to Benson. "Since when was my father in debt? I could try to convince him and the park can be save-"
"I'm sorry Pops, but there's no way. The amount of money that he has to repay is a fortune. No way all of us could pay that much money! I'm so sorry guys... You can start packing your bags."

Not fair, Moredcai thought. There has to be a way to solve this problem.

Pops stormed off crying. Skips and High-five Ghost ran after him.
"Hey, wait up guys!" Muscle-man yelled, and ran after them too. This news wasn't expected at all.
Mordecai felt deep anger and sadness. The park was like his home and everyone who worked there was like a big family, now it was going to get taken away from them. Not only that, but it would be difficult for Mordecai to find a job, since he didn't go to college or university. He didn't know what to do about it. So, Mordecai decided to drink away his problems...

Mordecai was at the downtown bar. The place was quite packed, as usual. He sat there, drinking his 5th shot of strong vodka.
He chugged it down and placed it down, hard. "More!" he demanded the bartender.
The bartender looked at him with concern.
"Look dude. That's too much for-"
"I don't care! I want more!" He started to get angry and impatient. Anyone could tell from afar that he was drunk. The bartender sighed, "I'm sorry, man. I can't give you anymore." Mordecai angrily got up and pointed his finger at him. "Fine! This place is sucks anyway."

He stumbled his way out of the bar and into the dark streets, with no people visible.
After 5 minutes of stumbling he found himself in an abandoned playground and decided to rest for a while.

"Oh no... I'm lost. Can't anything go right?!" Mordecai kicked a nearby trashcan and screamed.
He then heard footsteps behind him and sharply turned around. Someone pushed him to the ground.

"Hey! What're you doing here?! This is our turf, ya skank!" a harsh voice with a British accent scolded at him.
"Yeah, mate! Hey Ronald! Tell this bird here what happens when people go on OUR turf," another voice added.

Mordecai was afraid. He looked up and begged, "Look guys! I don't want any trouble." The two men laughed. Another unknown figure came forward. "You know what we do with people like you?! We teach you a lesson!"
The men repeatedly kicked him.

One of them lifted him from the ground and kicked him against a pole.

Mordecai tried to fight back, but failed miserably. He layed there, helpless. The men stood over him and mocked at how weak he was.
"Hey, let him go, you jerks!" a female voice demanded. The men turned around. "Let him go before I make you!"
Ronald laughed. "You can't tell us what to do girly."
Then the trouble began.

Mordecai's vision was blurry, so all that he could see were figures flying
backwards and purple and blue dust. This overwhelmed him, causing him to pass out.

.....

The next morning arrived and Ayano Aishi was already awake. She was in the kitchen, frying some eggs.

She was excited, because she would start her new job today!

Well, her new job at a park, but this still excited her.
After she was exposed of her obsession with Taro at Akademi High, she got expelled.
She left her old life behind and moved to California at the beginning of the year.

No one knows where she lives.

Not even her own parents. She wanted it that way.

After weeks of job hunting, she finally found a new job.
Ayano wanted to start over. To turn a new leaf and forget about the past.

"I hope they'll like me at my new job or else I'm screwed!" she rolled her eyes, while picking up the pan to place the egg on the empty plate next to the stove.
Ayano then made an egg sandwich and took a bite, then looked at the small clock above the stove.
"What?! "she exclaimed and jumped off of the chair that she was sitting on.
"I'm gonna be late! It's almost 7 o'clock!"
She got the keys to her apartment and ran out. Ayano locked the door.
