Grounded

It was nighttime. Adrien wasn't home yet.

Gabriel was worried about Adrien if he was okay. Adrien always came back home before 7 PM after going to his Wizardry school. It's been 2 hrs and Adrien hasn't come home yet. Gabriel began searching for Adrien in his flying car. He couldn't even get help from Gorilla, it was a full moon night. He found Adrien on a rock in the lake after a few minutes. Gabriel got very angry at him, he quickly flew over to him. Adrien was with Marinette.

Gabriel quickly got hold of Adrien and got him to sit in the car. He quickly took Adrien home.

*they reach home*

Gabriel began shouting at Adrien in the car. 

Gabriel: ADRIEN! Didn't I tell you never go near humans and sea creatures!

Adrien: Y-yes Father...

Gabriel: Then WHY WERE YOU WITH THE MERMAIDS?!

Adrien: Father, they are my friends and I--

Gabriel: They are no friends of yours! They are only flesh-eating Monsters!

Adrien: But they don't--

Gabriel: YOU ARE GROUNDED ADRIEN!

Adrien: B-but Father! Please, listen to me!!

Gabriel: That is final Adrien, This is for your own good.

Adrien shape-shifts into his elf form and sadly goes into the Mansion (yes they own a mansion in this AU too) He quietly sits at the Dining table. Gabriel cheerfully comes out of the kitchen with Candy canes and some soup as if nothing happened. 

Gabriel: Adrien, we have your favorite candy canes! 

Adrien didn't even bother looking at him.

Gabriel: Adrien, I did that for your own good, y--

Adrien quickly ran away into his room.

Gabriel: Crying like that won't make me unground you, be grateful I'm allowing you to go to your school.

Adrien sits beside his window. 

All he does is control me, He might be my dad and take care of me but- cant I meet my friends? I just got ungrounded last week and- ugh! And I hate going to Wizardry school-! Witch-craft is very difficult, and I don't even know if I'd actually make it. No one has ever passed the wizardry school except for the great 3 witches and my dad. Ugh! I'm not even allowed to go anywhere else except for school and back home... But at least I get make friends at school- like Chloe, Sabrina, Juleka, Luka, and Rose. This is so unfair, other kids get to go to the fair, make friends, and even go swimming with the mermaids... 

Adrien began crying. Nathalie saw him crying, she quickly flew over to the sobbing Adrien. Adrien turned around to see a little bat on his window, he quickly opened the window and the bat came in. 

Adrien: Hey Nathalie...

Nathalie transforms into her original form as soon as she gets in.

Nathalie: What happened my little sunshine, why are you crying?

Adrien: I'm grounded again

Nathalie: Did you go to the lake again?

Adrien: mhmm

Nathalie: how long did he ground you?

Adrien: I don't know... but why does he not let me go out!!

Nathalie: He only tries to protect you, because he loves you

Adrien: He won't repeatedly ground me if he 'loves' me, Nathalie!

Nathalie: Adrien, He DOES loves you--

Adrien: why is he doing this tho!

Nathalie: Heyy, I agree that he is overprotective.. maybe a little too overprotective but he just doesn't want to lose you.

Adrien: how does meeting my friends ever put me in danger-

Nathalie: The lake doesn't only have mermaids.. they have sirens too... 

Adrien: Sirens?

Nathalie: hey! now let's stop talking about that! do you wanna come out with me?

Adrien: I do but...how?

Nathalie: Oh come on... just turn into a bird!
