I woke up to my alarm clock singing. 'Great, another day in Paradise' I thought, rolling out of bed and grabbing clothes to take a shower. I trudged to the bathroom door, opening it, and closing it, locking the door afterwards. I got undressed and turned on the water, letting it warm up. I pulled the knob up, and stepped in. The warm water waking me up instantly. I scrubbed my body, letting it soak in whilst I washed my hair. I rinsed my hair and body, feeling refreshed. I turned off the water, standing for about 5 minutes, letting myself drip, then stepped out. I grabbed the towel off the counter and wrapped it around my body.

I was skating, Bailey offered me a ride, but I wanted to skate so I said no, when I bumped into a bulky chest. "I-I'm so sorry, I'm such a spaz-er—clutz, I'm a huge clutz, I'm so sorry," I rambled on, "Yeah, you are Maggie, a real big clutz," Ethan said, pushing me down. I fell, hitting the ground, grazing my hands on the asphalt. I remembered what I had always heard from my mom 'Be kind, and have courage, it'll pay off in the end" I smiled, standing up, and dusting off my hands. "Wook, wittle Maggie is a big girl, and can stand by herself," Grayson said in a baby voice, coming over to me and holding my face in his large hands. I pulled his hands off my face and patted his cheek. "Leave me alone, Dolan," I spat, rolling my eyes. "Shut up, Maggot," Jack, the 'leader' of the clique, as I would call it, said, walking up to me. "Or what? You're going to what-I don't know? Punch me? Guess what GUH-linsky, I don't care anymore! You've no idea the pain you have caused me! Physically and mentally!" I said, rolling up my sleeves, and showing off my scabbed, and scarred wrists. "Well, guess what! You guys win! I give up!" I said, walking away.

"Bullshit, you little bitch!" Jack yelled, running towards me. "Run!" I heard Bailey yell, making me sprint, grab my board and lead off, letting the wheels do the magic. 'Guess I wont go to school after all' I thought, still hearing Jack yelling profanities at me. I stopped, picking up my board and running. I panted, hoping I'd reach my special place before he caught up to me. I stopped, turning left, and bolting down the alley way. "Left, right, straight, left, left," I repeated to myself. "Bitch!" I heard Jack yell. "Shit" I whispered, realizing he was really close, so I made a U-turn, turning around and running towards Jack. I passed him, making me wonder how stupid he really was, until I ran into a pole. "Damn it, that hurt," I said holding my forehead, waiting for the loud pounding noise to stop. "Dumb ass," I heard Jack say. He pulled me up by my arm and pulled me close to his face. "Poor poor Maggie, all alone, in an alley, where anyone could get you, tsk tsk, what were you thinking," Jack mumbled, pushing my hair back to one side of my shoulder. "That'd be such a waist, now wouldn't it," Jack said, kissing my neck, making my heart race. "Jack, stop, what're you doing?" I whispered-shouted. "Making sure I don't get sloppy seconds," Jack mumbled once more, onto my neck, sending chills down my spine. "Sloppy seconds? What makes you think I'd want you to be my fancy first anyways?" I said, standing strong. "Because, no one else would want you, especially after I've had you," Jack said. "And you'd be the most luckiest girl in the whole school. No one would see you like you are now, so fragile, small, weak, they'd see you as gorgeous, beautiful, and strong, so strong that you looked around the bully in me and found someone so sincere, and caring." Jack said, grabbing my face and kissing my forehead. "Bye, Maggie," Jack said, walking away. "B-bye'' I stuttered, grabbing my board and walking home.
