The alarms were blaring, S.H.I.E.L.D agents were running to their battle stations preparing for an attack. The lights soon were cut out and then it fell silent. After a few moments of pure silence in the dark, they heard a scream that was quickly silenced, the attack had come, and their attacker revealed himself to be none other than HYDRA's most dreaded operative, he was known as the HYDRA Knight.
Gun fire soon quickly followed but the HYDRA Knight soon proved to be very swift, for each time he was shot at by an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D, he killed two of their own. He then used his blade to cut through the bullets like butter and he killed every last one of them in a matter of minutes. Once he finished with them he went on to finish his goal without paying any glance to the carnage behind him, feeling no remorse at all.
He quickly found the vault which contained the object he was sent for and quickly planted C4's on the vault's door, he then detonated the bombs he planted on the door of the vault after finding cover. Once the dust settled, he then found the object that he was sent to retrieve for HYDRA, the tesseract. He quickly made his way over to it but when he touched it, it did something he didn't expect it to do, giving him newfound abilities and it recovered his memories which HYDRA took away from him when they brainwashed him. After recovering from the painful experience he realized what he done and soon heard footsteps making its way near him
'I need to get out of here, maybe somewhere in a well populated city' Y/N thought and he blinked and he soon found himself in central park, New York.
A/N: sorry for the short chapter but I promise that the next chapters will be longer. And also you have another 48 hours to vote for Y/N's love interest
