I don't remember much about my mother but my father was always very kind to me. My mother disappeared when I was 3. My father changed a lot after she disappeared. He wouldn't let me go out after dark. I didn't know why.

"Dad why can't I go outside after dark?" I asked looking up at my father.

"There are things outside that want you and I can't lose you too." He said his scales turning a light grey with purple swirls growing on his scales. I looked down at my as some of my scaled turned red, light purple and a lite blue. You normally don't see it but I do have rainwing scales. Very little though.

A few days later I had a great idea. I am going to go out to see what really my dad is scared about. So I made  a  bag after doing my stuff. I packed some fruits and stuff like that. Once I knew my dad was asleep I flew to my friends house to see if he was awake. He was surprisingly. He is a rainwing and the only one I have meet that is not "lazy" as what my mom used to call them (at least my dad said she did).

"Ready for a adventure?" I said looking at him.

"I am so ready!" Baobab yelled. He was a light purple. The color of excitement. I knew this because whenever it was sun time all the rainwings were a purple color. He didn't sleep when it was sun time. The only reason I knew who my father was was because I was the only seawing rainwing hybrid and my father took great pride with having him with him.

I could barely contain my joy. I flung myself up in the sky and caught myself in the air. I looked back and say Baobab flying after him. Baobab looked back at his house on last time before they flew off. The three moons being the only think lighting their way. "Where do you want to go first?" I asked looked back at Baobab.

"Maybe the Sand kingdom?" He asked looking at Maelstrom.

"If you insist," I said swooping back to be right by him.

We started to fly into the middle of the continent and all we thought was going to happen was some fun adventures. We were deathly wrong!
