Battery City: the beautiful utopia for the workers of Better Living Industries, and their families. However, living in this perfect city means following strict BLI rules and laws. Men having hair too long, woman wearing skirts too short and all forms of homosexuality are illegal and punishable by unknown measures. Gerard and his neighbor and best friend Frank grow up in this world while trying to hide their true selves.
