Have you ever seen someone and thought I've known them my entire life.

Like I remember feeling your presence from time to time but have never actually spoken to you. You were just the kid that nobody wanted to be with.

I won't say that it wasn't sad seeing you alone, playing by yourself while the others ignored you. You probably thought that you were the best company their was. Even your parents wouldn't spare you their time or day to be with you.

I can't begin to imagine how much it hurt you. Seeing the solemn look on your face. Your life was merely fading in front of you. The pit of despair had you in it's clasp, not like you were willing to fight it.

While we played with our Barbie's and wondering if boys noticed us you stayed in your room.

We'd all made guesses about what you were probably doing up their by yourself.

"He's planning a scheme to shoot up the school."

"He kills small animals and uses them for satanic sacrifices."

It makes me sad.

That a poor seemingly innocent child would be the target for so much abuse. His little chin rests on his little palm staring out the window. Every night he dreams come of something different, something new he hopes.

Not even a million wishes on all the stars in the universe could change how things were.

You were a sweet angel, being good when mommy was having problems with Daddy. When there'd be yelling and screaming you wouldnt mind. It became normal to hear crashing sounds everyday.

"My sweat little prince." She'd coo at you.

"How you me so happy with your tiny smile in that small face." She smiles lovingly down at her "little Prince".

They all thought he'd be a straight A honor student when he got older. " What a fine handsome young man he'll grow up to be," they'd say. Like that was far from the actual truth.

Drugs and Alcohol can be real damaging to a growing boys system. When you realize your money is slowly disappearing you know when you have a problem. Detention, Juvy, Military school, seems like a hassle for one kid. His mother realized that the little monster that she created couldn't and wouldn't be tamed.

All the girls loved him. "He's just so bad!" They'd fawn "I've never been with a guy more daring."

If only they knew.
