Chapter XVI

Zoro POV

"Zoro I know your lying, or have you forgotten I walked in on you two being all lovey dovey." She had an evil smirk that spread its way across her lips.

There no denying it we where backed into a corner. "I mean- theres no proof." I tripped with my words.
"Just saying that you saw us kissing isn't proof enough!"

"Well there's your proof right there! I never said I saw you kissing, now did I?" Damit, I clicked my tongue.

"Oi, Zoro, put me down." Sanji grumbled, he sounded more serious than before. I let him jump out of my arms, he lit a cigarette and stuck it in between his lips as he wobbled his way to the stairs.

"Where not a 'thing' it was just a one time thing so just drop it." I felt my heart shatter breaking into millions of tiny pieces, he- he didn't mean it right? He's just trying to get Nami off our backs, but the way he said it made him sounded so serious.

I watched as he stepped into the kitchen slamming the door behind him. Damit all. I dashed across the ship and swung open the door to the kitchen and pulled it closed behind me.

Wait where did he go? I looked around but couldn't see him.

"Cook, you in here?" I started walking behind the counter to see him curled up in a ball with his head in his lap so that I couldn't see his face.

Although I couldn't see his face I could tell that he was crying from his uneven breathing patterns.

"Sanji.." I walked over to him and dropped on my knees, I wrapped my arms around him embracing him pulling him close so that he was snuggling up against me. I started stroking the hair on his head.

"Sorry about all of this." I whispered.

"Don't apologize none of this is your fault, I should be the one apologizing.." he sniffled.

"I was able to say that we where nothing, I wasn't thinking clearly." He started to whip the tears from his eyes with his sleeve.

"D-Do you- what do you think the others will say?" He choked out those words, I never knew he cared so much about what the crew thought.

"I'm sure they will be fine with it besides it none of there business any ways." I watched as his head perked up and looked at me like child looking at an ice cream cone.

"You really think so?" He questioned, I gave a reassuring smile.

"Of cour-" Before I could complete my sentence I was cut off by a forceful kiss. It took me by surprise and was knocked down and fell onto my back with a "oof."

We broke the kiss and I realize that I was pinned to the floor. I could feel Sanji's legs on both sides of my waist straddling my torso.

"Thank you so much Zoro." I started to feel my heart melt as he clinged to my chest. There is no excuse for him to be this adorable.

A moment or two passed by and he finally stood up. He offered me a hand and I graciously took it, we walked hand in hand out the door.

Whatever we face we will face together.

"Hey everyone, I have an announcement to make!" Sanji shouted and everyone peaked there heads up to look at him.

"I wanted to tell everyone.." he looked at me and we gazed into each others eyes, I gave him a nod to continue.

"Me and Zoro are now officially a couple, and if anyone doesn't like that well your going to have to deal with it."

After a few seconds of silence I heard a claps coming from Luffy who was sat on top of a barrel, soon after everyone else joined in even Nami was clapping.

"Wooohooo congratulations you guys!" I heard Luffy shout.

I looked over at Sanji who had a smile on his face, I grabbed his chin and locked our lips. The sparks of passion where ignited in the air.

I came to a realized that flower in my lungs was the best thing that ever happened to me.
