Chapter Five

Arriving at the grocery store, I grab a small cart as Sasuke and I walk through the automatic doors. We stop at the produce as that's the first section we see. I grab strawberries, peaches, plums and apples, and cherry tomatoes. Sasuke grabs a bag of cherries. We decide that's enough fruits for us. Heading toward the deli for fresh sandwich meats I hear a voice call out.

"HEY, hey sasuke!"

The voice sounding way too familiar for my liking.

"What are you doing here?"

I look up as the voice is close. It's two people from my old high school. Kiba and Naruto. Naruto looks down at me, curiosity reflecting from his eyes as he he looks back at sasuke.

"Is this..."

"Out of all people you should remember her idiot"

"Is that Honda?"

The brown haired boy asks.

"Sure is"

Naruto exclaims with amusement. Sasuke rolls his eyes. 

"We're roommates Naruto."

Sasuke says. I look back at Naruto's face, with wiggling eyebrows he's about to say something ,

"Don't make it weird, neither of us knew My moms the one that accepts the apartment applications."

"We'll see how things go" Kiba speaks. "You should come hang out with the group tonight, we're going to the arcade and getting food afterwards. Miss Honda is free to join us too"

Smirking his shiny teeth at me, I blush. Outgoing people make me feel flustered. I'm not used to so much eyes on me at once.

"That might be fun"

I say quietly. Sasuke looks at me and breaths a little harder than usual. Not upset, almost as if he's trying to communicate If he wants to go.

"I'll think about it"

The raven haired begins to speak with his friends as I fully make my way over to the deli section.

"Can I please get 8 slices of honey ham, a pound of shrimp, and a quarter of a pound of salmon please"

"Will that be all?"

"Yes ma'am"

The deli worker gets my meats and wraps them for me, to put in the cart. I thank her as I'm about to walk away.

"Hey sorry I got caught up in conversation"

"You're fine"

It's silent the rest of the trip. We get rice, Seaweed, chicken, Tea and stuff to make iced coffee.

with our student discount everything came to be $95. We both split the payment, as I didn't want him paying for everything, he shouldn't have to.

Walking home, We split the bags of uneven weight, him carrying more. We finally arrive home. He opens the door for both of us. Mumbling a thank you as I take off my shoes, I head to the kitchen to put the groceries away. The raven right behind me, he puts the groceries on the counter and leans against it. He looks at me as if he has a million questions, or possibly even none at all.
