It's early in the morning, the sun is still asleep and the moon shines bright through the curtains in the window, shining a soft light on Karol. Bucky is lying awake in bed, enjoying a good night of sleep. He can't remember the last time he slept so well, even if it was on a bed that is too soft for his comfort.

Both are lying on their sides, facing each other. He studies Karol attentively, branding her features into his memory. The colour of her hair is already locked in his memory, also her dark brown eyes hidden behind her closes eyelids.

What's new are her collarbone, the gap between her breasts, the soft skin of her stomach, her hourglass figure that extends to her hips, her ass and thighs. Once he has completely absorbed her features, he'll start over just make sure he didn't miss a thing.

Resting his head on his arm, the other is wrapped around Karol. His mind filled with thoughts. Thinking about last night, how amazing it was. He can't help but smile. Even his worries about HYDRA have stopped for a little while. Am I really happy right now?

Karol was sleeping peacefully until a few moments ago, she has become restless. Her eyes scrunch together, shaking her head, her breathing becomes faster and shallow. He wants to wake her up so he shakes her shoulder gently, and strokes her hair.

She wakes up, scared, her eyes wide filled with fear. She roughly grabs Bucky's wrist and squeezes it. She looks him straight in the eye. Her gaze softens when she sees who is next to her.

She lets his wrist go, trying to forget what she dreamt about before he woke her up, she leaves marks on his skin where her fingers gripped him tight. "Shit, so-... sorry Bucky."

Bucky is worried. She hasn't seen that look in her eyes since that day in that HYDRA facility. "Did you have a nightmare?"

"It's nothing." She sighs, glad that she woke up from her nightmare. She doesn't want to talk about it. The nightmares usually stop after a few nights.

She looks at Bucky, observing him. Her eye lingers on his metal arm, tapping it with her nails. "They never really told me what happened to you." she whispers, trying to get his attention of her nightmare.

"It's a long story."

"Last time I checked, we have time for that. HYDRA did this to you?"

"Yes... Sort of..." he sighs. He never really told anyone about the time he fell of that train. Nobody had asked and he never had the urge to talk about it, but he can share anything with Karol. Just like in the old times.

"I was on a mission with the Howling Commando's. We boarded a train owned by HYDRA. Assumingly Zola was on that train, so we had to board it and try to take Zola captive. Steve and I entered the train, got attacked by HYDRA soldiers. We got shot at but the power of a blast blew a hole through the side of the train and threw me out. I was left hanging on a rail for dear life. Steve tried to grab my hand but before he could reach me the rail snapped. I fell down into a 400-foot deep gorge into the icy Danube River."

He peeks next to him and sees Karol's face change from happy to sympathetic. He continues his story, not wanting to hold anything back from her.

"I only survived the fall because they already injected me with that Super Soldier Serum. HYDRA found me and decided to replace the arm I lost with this monstrosity." Images flash before his eyes of the memories he has of that moment. Being dragged through the snow and waking up with his new robotic arm.

"I'm sorry that happened to you."

"It was a long time ago." He turns around facing her. "I'm sorry." He continues.
