It was around three a.m. and Olivniko Gero sat in his dark living room. He hadn't moved for over an hour. The storm raged on outside. He was remembering that....accident. The evening kept playing over and over in his mind as he stared at the floor.   The power was out, lighting flash and thunder roared. He raised his head seeing a blur come from his right. He shook his head and sighed looking back down. The chaos into the darkness, shaken and keeping an eye on his the floor.

Why did you run, you idiot?  He mumbled to himself. He'd never committed a crime before but he should be punished put in jail for life, his career gone, his family gone, his future gone. Everything was gone

Why not just go to the police right now? You can afford a lawyer. Then someone tapped on the front door and his world suddenly crumbled away beneath him. They found me. There was nothing he could do but answer it. Running would only make matters worse. His body trembling, he got up, went to the door, and opened it. A police officer stood under the porch light." Mr, Gero?" asked the grim officer. He let out a defeated sigh. "Yes. Let me —"I am terribly sorry, but I'm afraid I have some bad news. It turns out the power line was struck by lightning and the neighborhood will be out for quite some time your welcome to come to the shelter where there is a generator. The police officer said. Olivniko nodded slowly. Thank you but I think I'll be fine. He said with a slightly nervous smile the officer bowed his head and left. Ovilniko shut the door confused.  That was strange, It was like I wasn't the most wanted criminal anymore He thought and sat on the couch. Memoire flooded my mind

"Where are you?!" I scream. Panicked, I run through the abandoned farm. I can't find her. Not in the old house. Not in the barn. I run into the empty field, heart racing. As I scan the area, I run into a mound of dirt and trip, sprawling to the ground. Getting up, it hits me. Abandoned farm. I tripped over freshly tilled earth. Crouching down, I start frantically clawing with my hands. Scooping handfuls of dirt, I hit something hard. Wood."Are you in there?!" I cry, pressing my ear to the wood. I hear muffled cries. I start digging again but realize it's taking too long. Looking around, I see a garden shed. I sprint to it, ripping the door open. I see a shovel, still caked in dirt. Probably the same one that bastard buried her with. I grab it. Running back, I started digging with purpose. Soon the wooden box is exposed. I toss the shovel and rip open the crate. She stares back at me, eyes wide. Bound. Gagged. But alive. I sigh with relief. Thank God. I reach into my bag, pulling out my rag and chloroform. I crouch down, placing it over her face. She struggles, faints. I toss her over my shoulder."Ah, hell!" My brother says as I walk back to the truck with a smirk. "You found her!" Yup. You almost had me though!" I laugh."All right. My turn. Where did you put her?"I gesture to the creek area. "Somewhere over there. Drowning's an issue though."Jerk!" he says, running off. I smile, watching him go. I set her on the couch and grabbed a knife with no thought I slit her throat open. Then I followed my brother with the knife in hand. He was crouch by the stream and stood up facing where did yo- He paused noticing the knife the blood glimmer off it.   What did you do?  You..didn't did you!?  He backed away in disbelief. Olvinkoi smiled at his brother his eyes were full black empty and hollow. He lunged and stabbed the knife into his bother chest making him stumble and fall back wide-eyed slowly looking down at the knife. Then coughed up blood. Olvinkoi smiled and pushed him into the water the current took his brother away. He headed back to the house and picked up the girl setting her back into the wooden box and burying her again. He cleaned up the bloody mess and headed to bed. He awoke to the sound of the radio his brother was found and in the hospital. He sat up listening in disbelief and got into the car and raced to the hospital. He walked into the room seeing his brother on a bed I.V. bag attached to him along with a breathing mask. His heart sank and he sat down waiting for him to wake. Hours past and he almost was asleep went his brother looked at him in pure anger and fear. get out! He tried to shout but it was more of a whisper Ovilnko looked up confused. But why? What happened to you? He asked his brother had cold eyes and anger raged through them. You don't remember!? You! YOU STABBED ME! And and KILL HER!  He shouted and coughed holding his chest in pain. Olivniko eyes widen and he shook his head. No! I didn't she asleep in her room.....You were with a friend remember?  Olivniko said. He shook his head No!.... I was home....You stabbed me and killed her! Leave...me...ALONE!  He gasped his eyes rolled in the back of his head to where I could only see the white then the monitor started to beep and the nurses came in I sat there wide-eyed trembling and ran out and headed home.

I shook my head at the memory I didn't understand what happened. As I sat in my house heard the thunder roaring but there was something else. Something that was watching me. I wasn't quite sure what tho. I look around the dark living room and didn't see anything. Lighting flashed and I saw something. I jump to my feet wide-eyed

No, it can't be. She dead there dead! I said in a quite shaky breath and slowly sat back down shaking my head.

It's been over 4 years since I "lost my mind." Since the accident. I still see them, I still...hear them! I still see her but they're not here they can't be....I killed them ha! I kill them all. Olivniko laughed quietly and shook my head looking at the faded bloodstains on the couch.
