Taking Over Chapter 2

Eggman was resting on his chair as he was watching the news.

"Seems like we got a new friend in town."

"We do?" Cubot asked.

"Well..." Orbot didn't get a chance to finish his sentence.

"We need to find him! He would be the perfect addition to the team!"

"Your team is basically robots." Shadow said.

"So what!? It can still work!"

Cubot started heading towards the different room as Orbot followed him.

"Where are you going?"

"To look for the bad guy that was on the news."

"Why would he just be in here?"

They suddenly heard footsteps and turned their heads.

"Shadow?"

The Mobian in the black cloak was walking towards them.

"See?! I told you!" Cubot said.

Orbot looked at him.

"Uh...can we help you?"

"Orbot? Why is he getting closer to us?"

The Mobian raised his glowing hands at them and then a big flash appeared.

Later with Eggman and Shadow.

"Perfect!"

He looked at the sign above him and it said,

'Welcome To Team Eggman!'

There was also balloons and streamers.

"What exactly are you trying to do? Plan a birthday party?" Shadow asked.

"No! It's a welcoming way to join our team."

"I don't feel like this is a 'we' thing. I don't even give a crap about this."

Soon, they heard an explosion as the door flew from its frame. They looked at the doorway and saw the Mobian.

"Welcome! We were just about to go look for you!"

"Again, there is no 'we'." Shadow said.

"Is this your base?" He asked.

"Yup! Sure is! We saw you on the news and we were wondering if you were interested in joining team Eggman!"

Shadow shook his head a bit with his eyes closed.

"Hmm..." He walked around a bit as he rubbed his hand against the metal technology.

"Orbot! Cubot! Get over here and get him so coffee!" Eggman yelled.

"So what's your name?" Eggman asked.

"You don't need to know anything."

"Well what am I supposed to call you then?"

He didn't say anything.

Eggman noticed that his robots didn't show up.

"Orbot! Cubot! The coffee!"

"You looking for your little friends?"

"They're my servants!"

The Mobian snapped his fingers as Orbot and Cubot came in the room and stood by him, except they looked a bit different.

Orbot has red aurora around him with evil red eyes. Cubot was the same except with yellow color and they each had their own color tattoo that was a swirl on their arm.

"What's with you two?!" Eggman asked.

"Sorry to ruin your little welcoming party but I'll be taking over your little base."

"What are you talking about?"

"How about I just show you instead." He pointed at Eggman as Orbot and Cubot rolled towards Eggman and grabbed his arms.

"Hey! What are you doing!? I am your master! Let me go!"

"They don't take orders from you anymore. But you will take orders for me!" He shot a light blast at him which was orange and his eyes were glowing orange.

He formed a orange swirl tattoo on his arm. Shadow looked at the Mobian as he looked at Shadow.

"Care to join me hedgehog?"

"Not a chance!" Shadow got into battle position.

"Wrong answer! Ha!!!" He jumped in the air and shot a red blast at him but Shadow dodged it and ran towards him.

They were throwing their fists at each other and then Shadow kicked his back, making fall on his stomach.

"Why you hiding your face huh? To hide your humiliation of losing to the Ultimate Lifeform?"

He groaned a bit as he looked at Shadow.

"Ultimate Lifeform huh? You could be useful."

"I am no one's puppet!" He threw Chaos Spears at him.

"Reflective Steel!" A floating mirror appeared in front of him as the Chaos Spears bounced off the mirror and started heading towards Shadow's direction.

Shadow gasped as the spears knocked him to the other side of the room.

He grunted a bit but the robots and Dr. Eggman grabbed him.

"Get your hands off me!" Shadow yelled.

The Mobian walked towards him with a smirk. Shadow growled at him.

"Don't come any closer!"

"You will help me whether you like it or not."

His glowing hand turned red as the light beam which turned from yellow to red went in his heart.

Shadow screamed in pain but suddenly his eyes were now fully red as he formed a red swirl tattoo.

He chuckled as he looked at his new minions.

"Now that I got your attention, you will tell me what you know about Sonic and his friends."

"Yes sir..."
