so we're this close ?

7:30pm

Jieun was all alone in the house. Junkyu and his friends went out to eat dinner. Ms.Kim went to meet her friend in urgent. Jieun insisted to stay at home because of her anemia that gotten worse. but she lied—saying that she's fine and it was just a normal headache. she felt tired the whole day but she hid them with her bright smile. she couldn't bare the pain anymore and couldn't even stand by herself easily. hence, Jieun laid under her duvet resting her body. minutes after she got a call from her brother.

she answered the call, "hello?"

"oh- Jieun." she heard Junkyu's voice through her phone speaker.

"yeah? why'd you call?" Jieun questioned.

"me and my friends will go hangout for awhile, so we might be back home late... just stay there— i ordered some food for you" Junkyu said, knowing that his sister is that type who would starve and couldn't manage her meals well.

Jieun thanked her brother, indeed she was hungry. so she waited for the food patiently.

minutes after, Jieun heard a knock. without any further due, she opened the door and welcomed the food sent by a delivery man. a man in a cap. with her eyes barely opened and dizziness going on, she questioned the man, "my... brother- paid... for them right?" she stopped between her words. Jieun felt the pressure in her head, she quickly passed the food in plastic back to the man. the only thought that was in her mind was "fall to the ground". and she followed her mind.

but- the delivery man was fast enough to catch her before she could let herself fall. Jieun closed her eyes for seconds and opened them back. she saw the man holding her. she squinted her eyes trying to see the man in HD and HQ also 4K.

as she gets the clear vision. she realized that the man wasn't just a random delivery man.

"choi- hyunsuk ??"

Hyunsuk accompanied the girl to the couch. "are you okay ??" he asked in worried. Jieun nodded, he then went back to the front door and took the food.

"i bought you some pasta with broccoli" Hyunsuk smiled. "also some fruits that are high in vitamin-C that could help your dizziness go away !" he added.

so many things going on in Jieun's head. but the first question that she lets out was, "how can a delivery man transform into Choi Hyunsuk?". Hyunsuk laughed at her question. "nobody transformed or such.. it was me from the start. i think you should eat- you know, you look so pale.. you can't even recognize me there." Hyunsuk pouted then unboxed the food that he bought for the girl.

"Junkyu told me that you're home alone. and haven't eaten dinner. and you're not in a good condition."

she sighed, "Kim Junkyu.... i'm so sorry to put you in this situation"

"noooo, you don't have to apologize, i'm so relieved that im here, i'll take care of you really well. can you not see what could happen minutes ago ?? i'm so worried.. it's not safe for you to be alone at home. especially at night. not to add that you're also in this bad condition ? you can even faint here without anybody knowing" Hyunsuk ranted.

Jieun stared at the floor with her no energy body. Hyunsuk began to feed the girl with some food.

"you know what? the dare given by Haruto and Jeongwoo during lunch was useful. like- in this situation." Hyunsuk giggled.

she cackled in pain. Hyunsuk patted Jieun's head while admiring the girl. she actually got shy by Hyunsuk's action, but was unable to show them due to her lifeless look.

after dinner, Hyunsuk asked if there's anything she wanted to do. she then decided to watch a movie in her room. the boy helped her climbed the stairs. Hyunsuk treated her like a princess, she comfily sat on her bed then keyed in the password to her laptop. Hyunsuk was standing at the side, watching every single thing she did. Jieun looked at him, motioning him to sit beside her. she chose the movie titled "A Whisker Away", which is one of her favourite all time. it was the early 20 minutes of the movie but Jieun was already drifted off to sleep. her head naturally slumped forward, Hyunsuk slowly grabbed her head and leaned them on his shoulder.

"OMG- the ending is so cute" Hyunsuk squeaked in whisper. he had finished watching the movie alone. scared that he might wake the girl, he patted the girl's head and placed it slowly on a pillow. he can't stop admiring her beauty. "you're so pretty, as well as your heart too... im so lucky to have a friend like you.." he thought. Hyunsuk then tucked her hair behind her ear.

at the same time, *SQUEAK* the door opened, showing several boys.

"ohmygod is she okayyy?"
"Hyunsuk-what are you doing to my Jieun"
"SO JUNGHWAN go watch Sofia The First"

Hyunsuk stood from the bed and motioned them to lowered their voice, telling they might wake the girl. they nodded and walked to Jieun's bed quietly.

"get well soon Jieun"
"wake up my bright sunshine, my lovely Jieun" Jaehyuk pouted while caressing the girl's head.

seconds later Junkyu entered the room. he looked at his sister and smiled in relief. he then wrapped his hand on Hyunsuk's shoulder. "thank you so much for your volunteer to take care of her... hope she gets better real quick"
