Four Mysterious Gifts

Y/N POV

So, tomorrow is my birthday, and my parents decided to throw a small birthday celebration for me. (Ofc duh it's your birthday, who else's is this party for then). Well, it's just a simple dinner at my all-time favourite restaurant with my parents, Hobi and his soulmate Solar, Joy and Yeji. 

As usual, sing birthday songs, blow out the candles, eat dinner while having talks. Simple but nice, with the people I love, just up to my liking. After we finished the dinner, (literally finish. There's not even a speck of food on the table. We're really good eaters.) they handed me the gifts that they've prepared. Awww, they're so nice. Yeji give me a cute teddy bear, a set of scented candles from Joy, andddd A brand new camera from my parents. I've always wanted this camera cause I'm so into photography and knowing that they support me is such a blessing.

We then bid our goodbyes to my best friends and go back home. Well, I'm with my parents cause Hobi needs to send his girlfriend first. On the car ride, I was wearing this huge ear-to-ear smile as I was really happy. But then, my wrist starts to feel hot and it was really uncomfortable. I told my mom about it and she told me it's normal considering my soulmate's name will appear there. So I just ignore it even though it's really uncomfortable.

When we arrive home, my mom told me to put an icepack on my wrist to ease the hotness. So I did as she told me. After changing into my pj's and cleaning my face, I lay on my bed with an icepack ready for sleep. Just then, someone knocks on my door. So I went to get it and it's Hobi. He's holding this paper bag. He then just get in and sit on my bed, making me sit next to him. He then handed me the bag and told me to look inside. I took it out and, WHATTHEFUCKK it's a nightgown. A really revealed, see-through red coloured nightgown.

"BRO! WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!" I whisper-yelled worried that our parents might hear us.

"Chill, it's your birthday present. Happy birthday!" He said innocently.

" I appreciate that you got me a birthday present. But why on earth that you got me a nightgown? Especially THIS kind of nightgown?!" I said still pissed.

" I'm just doing a favour for my future in law. He/she will surely love it." He finished with a wink and quickly ran out of the room.

He's so lucky he's out of my sight or he'll surely dead by now.

I just lay back on my bed hoping to be in dreamland by now, but that's not the case. I can't sleep! In the condition of my wrist right now, with my brain just decided to imagine things with my future soulmate in that nightgown Hobi got me. And somehow, his sentence seems to be playing in a loop in my ear. Ughh fuck U Hobi!

MORNING

I wake up with the sound of my alarm. I feel so tired right now considering that I don't get enough sleep last night. It's all Hobi's fault. After doing my usual morning routine, I go downstairs.

"Morning Mom, Morning Dad!"

" Morning Y/N/N! Why're you looking awful?" - Dad

I don't answer and just shoot a death glare at Hobi.

"What's with those eyes?" he frowned his eyebrows.

" It's your fault that I can't get enough sleep" I whisper to him after taking a seat next to him.

"Ohh, so you're imagining wild things, huh?" He wiggles his eyebrows with a smirk formed on his lips.

" Shut up and just eat."

After parking my car at the usual place, I walk to the classroom with my two best friends.

"So, has the name showed yet?" - Joy

I showed her my wrist "Nope." Cause there's no name yet, but it's kinda red.

"Why is it so red? And so big?"   - Yeji         "Cause mine the other day was not as big as this"    Yeah, she found her soulmate already cause she was born earlier so she's kinda experienced in this.  Her boyfriend is a guy from a school not really far from ours. I heard that he was a playboy before, but he's changed after met Yeji.   Wow. Love power.

"Really? I don't know" - Y/N

"Maybe it's because your soulmate is fat" Joy with his ridiculous mind.
"What? It kinda makes sense" She defends herself after not getting any reaction from the both of us.

In the classroom, I was shocked after seeing there's 4 birthday presents on my table cause I never got any gift from anyone in the school except from Joy and Yeji.

There's a bouquet of roses, a box of Ferrero Roche, a wrapped Chanel perfume and a Dior handbag all come with a card that says, 'Happy Birthday, My Soulmate'. 

"Wow, your soulmate must have known about you already" - Yeji

" And, he/she is surely rich" - typical Joy with her materialistic personality.

"But he/she don't have to get me four gifts with four cards. One is enough right?" I thought.

And the teacher came in and the boring lesson starts.
