He led me into a nature-filled park. I didn't even know where we were anymore, but I didn't care either. We haven't said a single word to each other since the party, and yet I thrusted him. He'd look at me ever so often, and I'd gaze into his eyes, but he'd give me nothing more than a tiny smile.
It was quiet, and he lifted his head to look at the stars, who were absolutely stunning that night. "Now isn't this pleasant?" With a sigh, he softly said, "'Silently, one by one, in the infinite meadows of heaven, blossomed the lovely stars, the forget-me-nots of the angels.'"
"That's beautiful," whispered Liah, as if not wanting to ruin the pleasant mood he had just created.

"Have you ever heard of the constellation: Berenice's Hair?"
"It's named after an Egyptian queen. Berenice and Ptolemy were newlyweds when he went off to war. She was worried about him so she made a deal with the goddess of love to protect her husband. In order to save his life, Berenice was supposed to cut off her long golden hair, which she was very proud of. She felt it was her crowning glory, but she was willing to sacrifice anything for the man she loved. The goddess was so pleased with her newly acquired treasure that she took it up to heaven."

I chuckled, "Is there anything you don't know?" "I know nothing, except the things that I do."

"I've never had such deep conversations before. Especially not with someone that I met less than an hour ago." He laughed, "You're welcome." We sat down on a bench next to a fountain. "I really didn't think my tonight would've ended like this to be honest."
"Hmm"
"I thought this would be a fun party where I would dance with my friends, sing karaoke and get drunk, or whatever it is that they do in movies. But my friends just kinda abandoned me and I wanted to have a nice night. Not that this isn't nice, I- I just meant that- you know-"
I looked up at him and he was just smiling at me, like a darn idiot, a gorgeous idiot that is.
"I'm rambling on, aren't I?" "Yeah," he took a puff from his cigarette, "I don't mind it thought."
He took my hand, "Come on." I laughed, "We just got here, where are you taking me?" He pulled me onto my feet, "Nowhere." "Then what are we doing?" He put my hands on his shoulders and positioned his on my hips.
"You said you wanted to dance, we're dancing", he smiled. I giggled as I snaked my arms around his neck and he pulled me close, we were merely inches apart now. He was smiling. So was I. And I was blushing, which made him smirk even more. Our bodies swayed in sync to a rhythm that didn't exist. But I was lost in him, in the idea of him. His smell, his hair, his eyes, his lips. Everything about him was so delicate, he drove me insane. I didn't even realise he wasn't looking me in the eyes anymore, he was staring at my lips. I felt sick to my stomach, I was excited, yet I had this sudden urge to run away. But I wanted him, him and only him, right now. He trapped me, he knew he did. He knew that in that moment, I belonged to him entirely. Even if I didn't know it yet, I had handed myself over to him. He leaned in, I froze. I could feel his breath on my lips as I closed my eyes.

*PHONE BUZZES*
You have to be fucking kidding me. How does something like this actually happen? I almost screamed out of frustration, I think it was pretty evident that I was annoyed because he laughed when he saw my facial expression. I sighed, "Just give me a second." "Of course." It was a text, from Anne.

'Where are you? We've been looking for you everywhere and we're getting worried.' -Anne

"It's just my friends, they're getting worried about me." He smiled, "Yeah it's getting pretty late, we should probably head back.." I nodded and noticed he was still holding my hand as we started to walk back to the party.

The volume of the music started to increase as we got closer. We were still a few meters away from the house when he stopped me. I turned to him as he was looking at his feet. He seemed a bit nervous. "Hey uh, I was thinking.. If you'd be agreeable to it of course, that we could maybe, you know, go- shit." He was looking at something behind me. I furrowed my brows as I looked at him in confusion. I turned around, the first thing I saw was police sirens. There were officers that were approaching with their guns pointed straight at us. Confusion flooded my mind. "What's going on?" The last thing I heard him say was, "I'm sorry." I turned around to look at him, but I was met with the back of a gun. One clean hit and everything went black.
