"To reconcile is to restore friendly relations between others that you have an unresolved issue with. It's never easy to do such a thing though. As human beings we find it hard to make amends because many see this as admitting defeat and connecting with others once that connection has been broken makes reconciliation harder said than done. That leads to my own form of reconciliation, even though I knew the Johnsons in the past, that doesn't mean anything now because things change, people change, I've changed. Now I've gotta figure out how to adjust to said changes."

The next morning was just like any other, rising sun and everyone getting ready for their day. Zahra had just woken up and she couldn't help but smile, it's been a very long time since she's slept on an actual well-kept bed and not someone's couch or a dirty old mattress.

She got up and stretched, spotting the sunlight peeking through the curtains which led to her opening them. The neighborhood was just as domesticated and nice looking as ever, especially in the morning and that was something Zahra could appreciate.

Zahra left the bedroom, only to be met with utter chaos in the hallway. Bow was chasing after the twins with a clothing hamper in hand, Junior was walking around but he was too distracted with his handheld game and bumped into the wall causing Ruby to laugh at him with a glass of wine in hand.

"I guess these are my mornings now..." Zahra muttered as she made her way over to the bathroom.

"Morning, baby." Ruby greeted, sipping on her wine.

"Morning GG." Zahra greeted and Ruby smiled, she really missed that nickname "Isn't it too early for wine?"

"When you live with Rainbow, wine's never too early." Ruby said as she rolled her eyes.

"I heard that." Bow said, coming out of the twins' room "And that's my wine you're drinking."

"That explains why it's so bad." Ruby said with a scoff as Bow gasped with a surprised look and Zahra tried to hide her amused smile. Ruby chugged the rest of the wine down and shoved the glass into Bow's hands, walking past her with a look and going downstairs.

"See what I gotta deal with everyday?" Bow asked and Zahra nodded with a light chuckle "How'd you sleep?"

"Really good, although I didn't expect to wake up to..." Zahra trailed off as they both turned to see Jack and Diane in opposite rooms that were across each other. They pulled on the skipping rope as Junior, still distracted by his game, continued to walk forward and he soon tripped and fell because of their little prank "That."

"Oh Junior! You're supposed to be getting ready you two!" Bow exclaimed as Jack and Diane giggled and ran back into their room "And Junior, I thought I told you not to walk around with that thing."

Zahra shook her head in amusement as Bow went to help Junior up. She on the other hand went the other way, towards the bathroom but not before knocking first.

"Yeah, hold on." A familiar voice said and soon enough the door opened to reveal Zoey in a purple towel and they both widened their eyes upon seeing each other "O-oh...hey..."

"Wow." Zahra let out once she took in the sight before her and Zoey blushed with a small smile, Zahra soon snapped out of her little trance and smirked "If this is what I have to wake up to everyday then I'm really looking forward to staying here."

Zoey's smile widened and even if she didn't want to admit it, the butterflies in her stomach were going crazy.

"Good morning to you too." Zoey said, quickly moving past her and running off to her room.
