"There've been points in my life where I've experienced every emotional amalgamation you could think of: sadness, anger, fear, disgust and happiness, the last one is important because it's been a long time since I've been truly happy. Back then there was a place where the people I loved would all be happy together and it was like we were all one big happy family but that changed and now I'm not entirely sure if that place is still around or even if the people I remember are still there. I'm nervous, how would they react to me coming back? How would I react to my comeback?"

A bus slowed down and eventually stopped at a bus stop close to a suburban area, the doors opened and the bus driver stood up. He was a big man with a large round belly, light brown skin, short black hair and a goatee; he wore a white plaid shirt and a black jacket with black shorts, white shoes and a cap.

The bus was had only one passenger that was currently asleep at the back of the bus. The bus driver walked to the back of the bus and softly shook the passenger. She jolted awake and looked around frantically, but she soon calmed down when she saw the bus driver smiling at her.

The passenger was a girl with very light brown skin and long curled brown hair. She wore an old grey hoodie, black shirt, sliver cross necklace, worn out black jeans and old sneakers. She had bags under her eyes and a small backpack sat next to her. This was in fact the protagonist of this story, Zahra Williams.

Zahra pulled out the earbuds from her ears and took out an old IPod that had cracks and tape around it, she pushed one of the buttons to turn it off and put it back into her pocket

Zahra pulled out the earbuds from her ears and took out an old IPod that had cracks and tape around it, she pushed one of the buttons to turn it off and put it back into her pocket.

"Why'd the bus stop?" Zahra asked.

"Well that's because we're here." The driver responded with a bright smile.

"Oh." Zahra responded distantly as she looked out the window then she looked back at the driver "Sorry for falling asleep on your bus sir."

"Hey, that's no problem. You seemed tired so I let you get your rest and call me Gabe or Fluffy, sir's what I'll finally call my dad when he comes back home." Gabe joked.
