A couple of hours passed while we waited for Colby to finish getting his tattoo. Sam, Kat and I took this opportunity to go and explore the little shopping mall a few blocks away.

We passed a few stores while Kat and Sam discussed a couple of things, me staring into the store windows, scanning for anything that would catch my attention but nothing passed by.

My gazing was interrupted by a slight grumble coming from my stomach, it feeling emptier than ever. I was starting to become restless due to my hunger and decided to pull out my phone to dial Jake.

As if on cue, Sam's phone rung and he answered in a swift movement. It only took about twenty seconds until he explained to us that they were done and we we're able to finally get something to eat.

When we finally walked around the corner of the block where the tattoo parlor was, Jake and Colby were already waiting for us by the car. Colby was leaning against the side of the car, his eyes glued to his phone.

"You guys really took your time, huh?" he groaned and with that Colby's eyes slowly looked up in our direction, not hesitating to make eye contact with me.

We all got in the car, sitting the same as before, the radio now silent. There was a few seconds of awkward silence until Sam cleared his throat.

"So, Y/N, we're filming a video later today for mine and Colby's channel and we were wondering if you'd be interested in joining us? Kat's not going to join us, but Jake is. We're exploring an asylum that's located in downtown LA so it won't take too long to get there. What do you say?"

He shifts his eyes from the road to the rear view mirror, looking at me and waiting for an answer. I look at Jake and then at Colby, and back at Sam.

"We better not get locked up," I jokingly groan and Sam let's out a nervous chuckle. He turns on the radio that heaves the silence. I shift my eyes to Jake to make a conversation but see that he's on his phone typing away in a chat with Tara.

I slowly shift my eyes to Colby, hesitating at first, but I see him already looking at me. "First tattoo?" I ask him with an awkward smile on my face. He shakes his head.

"Can I see how it looks?" I asked again and he nodded with a small smile and slowly pulled up his shirt, not taking it off but only pulling it up for me to see his tattoo.

"I like it," I smile and he grins in satisfaction. "Do you have any tattoos?" He asks and I shake my head. "I definitely want to get a few though," I clarify and he nods with a smile.

We finally come to a stop in the parking lot of a restaurant, one which I cannot make out the name of. We get out of the car and make our way inside, being seated at a large enough table for all of us.

As time passes by, we eat and drink and talk about all different kinds of things, including the plans of tonight.

"We'll pick you up at around six. Make sure you have everything you need. I'll send you a list," Sam says and begins typing away on his phone.

A couple of minutes pass and everyone gets up after the bill was paid and we make our way back to the car. It takes a few minutes to get to my apartment, but finally they drop me off.

"Be ready at 6," Jake shouts from inside the car and I give a thumbs up before heading inside, going up the numerous flights of stairs and finally into my apartment.

I decided to take a shower to pass the time, and by the time I got out it was 5:20 p.m. While I get ready I think back to the slightly awkward conversation I had with Colby.

I'm hoping that tonight gives us a chance to really get to know each other and move away from the awkwardness. I decided on an outfit for tonight and took a fit pic, posting it to my Instagram for my followers to admire.

A few minutes passed and I got a like from Colby, as well as a follow. My cheeks burned a slight crimson to the fact that he liked my picture.

As the time passed, I was slouched on my couch, The Office playing on the television while I restlessly scroll through several social media apps

As the time passed, I was slouched on my couch, The Office playing on the television while I restlessly scroll through several social media apps.

Suddenly an unknown caller ID popped up on my phone and I hesitantly answered it. "Hello?" I answer. "Hey, it's Colby, we're outside," he answered and my heart sped up.

He has my number. He asked for it. A smile crept on my lips as my cheeks got flustered and excitement bubbled in the pit of my stomach.

I locked up my apartment and made my way back down, being greeted by Sam's tesla once again, Jake in the passenger seat and Colby in the back.

"Get in loser, we're going shopping," Jake referenced in a high pitched voice and I laughed, getting in the back and exchanging hello's and whatnot.

My eyes meet Colby's, his ocean blue's piercing into mine. "Ready to explore?" He asked with a daring smile and I nodded with a nervous smile.

"Don't worry, it'll be fun," he laughs and suddenly touches my forearm. His warm hand on my cold arm left me with goosebumps forming on the skin of my arms and at the back of my neck.

I looked at his hand on my arm and up at him, his smile turned into a slight smirk when he notices my surprised reaction.

A few seconds passed of his eyes gazing in mine while the car moves swiftly on the roads, on its way to the asylum, with the help of the lady guiding Sam through the GPS.

Finally the car comes to a stop, the darkness from outside surrounding us and everything outside.

"Let's start filming then," Sam says and pulls out his camera before starting to record
