idk but heres some steve legends fluff

Colle pov

The desert village has been thriving since we defeated the last inferno. Since I got Genesis to bring back the desert Steve's that were shoved into the basement of a restaurant it's been super lively!

   Aside from me of course, I've been less busy than I've hoped. Sharp and Beef are busy, Goggles too.. I'm still banished from the red kingdom.

    However the last of the forest Steve's are here now and I've gotten to meet a bunch of chromatic Steve's just like me! I do find it a little upsetting that since I'm not a leader I'm not able to join meetings with the other chromatic Steve's, but it's been swell. The desert apprentice and I have been hanging out a bit while he's not busy, mainly to cook and talk. I'm going to head over to his place actually right now.

3rd person POV

   Colle picked up a few of his things in the house he's been staying in in the desert village, as he started to head out the door, a young desert Steve runs past him. Colle can't help but watch in awe at how lively the desert village has become.

   Whilst on his way to the desert apprentices house he notices how colorful and bright the village had become since the battle with the last inferno, it was quite a sight seeing how lost everything had been before.

Time (Steve) skip

  

       Colle is helping the desert apprentice (DA) Get out ingredients for cake. "Thanks maaaan, but look at this" Da piles sugar on his head with a dorky smile on his face, still without a care in the world

   "I- desert apprentice don't we have to use that? It's all on your head now..." Colle mutters out the last part to which Da can still hear

"It's all coooool mannnnn" Da states while letting the sugar fall off his head into a mixing bowl, colle is unamused

   Colle grabs the flour (screw minecraft normalities) and pours it in the bowl, "Desert apprentice do you actually know how to make a cake because I uhhhhhh... Haha, I don't" Colle states while having a bit of flour on his cheek, Da notices this and wipes it off with a bare hand. . .   He smears it. "Sure mannn, just let me handle thissss, my wayyyy" Da declares proudly, not realizing how awkward Colle feels now.

Colle pov

    He just... smears the flour all over my face *blink blink*

  I grab a couple eggs and crack them in the bowl with a sigh, then Da pushes me to the side and I fall to the floor with a thud, my face clear with shock.

I watch him pour milk in the cake mix and slip something in, he then tosses me a whisk, which...I fail to catch, but! I get up with it and mix up the batter. (I have no idea how to make a cake from scratch, don't kill me eheh-) We pour the mix into a couple cake pans and slip them into a furnace, I'm not sure how the desert apprentice does this, during the fight, he got blasted with fire from the last inferno and became glass, just like most of the desert Steve's before him, he's been a little off since then, more serious although he tries to pretend he's normal.

Another time (steve) skip, 30 minutes

We hear a bunch of popping come from the furnace and I look at the Desert apprentice with a questioning look. He just smiles... and says "let's get out of here", and grabs me by the hand dragging me out of his house. After a few blocks we turn around to see lights and fire flashing all over his house, it's safe to say he put a few fireworks in the cake mix, actually no, it's not safe, HE'S INSANE!! And yet he's laughing with a smile on his face, just looking at me for my reaction. I can feel him tighten his grip on my hand.

"Desert apprentice... what exactly did you do..?"

"It's all for the funnnn mannnn"

688 words,  I hope this is ok, I know I haven't updated in a while, a lot of stuffs going on, plus I never know what to write, and sabre related ships usually make me uncomfortable ^^'

But steve legends is growing a place in my heart since rainbow quest ended, seeing as this is the prequel to it, but like, if you've seen recent episodes, did you see hypno in the crowd of red Steve's in the Red kings mind? So is this a prequel or part of the loop when hypno also jumped into that portal at the end of rainbow quest, so strange 😅

Anyways thanks for reading this strange shizz, idk if I'll update again anytime soon but I can try
