"Your Maje—" I cut Adler off by slamming him into the wall, he lets out a whimper and I smile showing my sharp fangs.

"She's my wife and mate, and praise to the Devil that I won't kill you if you say one more thing about her and other males." I snap out angry that once again Adler suggested that my love is to be shared.

"Your Majesty," I turn when I hear Oxford's voice, his face looks concerned and anxious and I freeze.

"Is she. . ." I trail off not coming up with words, Oxford nods and I drop Adler and rush to our room.

There Evelyn is on the bed rubbing her stomach, she looks up and I smile.

"You're having a baby!" She nods and I walk over and sit beside her, she immediately moves closer to me and lays against my chest.

Oxford comes in as Evelyn falls asleep,

"Oxford can you explain?" He nods and clears his throat.

"When you mate the chances of pregnancy are the highest, especially mating through heat. The Queen will be very clingy during the pregnancy and will not cope without you close, her instincts need you to protect her since she is unable. The stress of you being gone can affect the baby, especially in the first month or so."

I take all the information in and blink twice before answering Oxford.

"Okay and how long will the pregnancy last and how many children?"

"Five months for pregnancy and she will most likely have anywhere from ten to twenty-seven children. Those kids will grow up in ten years, so two human years in one. They will stop aging at twenty." I nod and Oxford bows before leaving the room.

I stare at Evelyn and smile, she is carrying the first bloodsucker child in all of history and I'm the child's father.

She stares at me before patting the bed before she and I move to lay beside her, I place a hand on his stomach and kiss her forehead.

"Sleep well my mate, you'll need the strength."

"You can't be serious?!" Adler says surprised,

"Nope, so let's call off the ball and let my mate rest carry her first child." I didn't mention the fact we could have more than one and I don't plan on it.

"Too late, I'll just hire someone to plan the party instead of the Queen and we'll keep the seamstress posted about stomach size." Adler grins like a cat and I want to strangle him.

The door bursts open and my love walks in wearing a tight midnight blue dress that goes to her knees that covers her collar and arms.

She walks over and sits on my lap before tugging my sleeve down and starts sucking my blood. Adler stares at her stomach and I let out a low growl, he averts his eyes quickly and I pray to Lucifer he dies soon.

Vampires can die by my hand since I am the King or I can let them burn to death like all the others I punished.

Oxford rushes in a few seconds later and starts at Evelyn before sighing,

"Sorry, Your Majesty but I didn't see the Queen went I went to check in on her. Anything I can do?"

"Not that I know of, thank you though." Oxford nods and exits the room, after he leaves the door open and a tall man walks in smiling.

"Sanche!" Adler exclaims jumping up and hugging the man, I roll my eyes and watch my love staring at the man curiously.

"This is Sanche Your Highnesses, he will be in charge of planning the ball," Adler says introducing him to us, I'm pretty sure he has planned the last million balls.

"May I sit?" I nod and Sanche slides into a chair beside Adler and clicks a pen from his pocket and stares at Evelyn.

"Any colours in mind for the ball?" She stares at him with a weird look and then points to the blood-red curtains.

"Good choice, blood-red always looks nice, anymore?" She nods and stops drinking my blood and wipes her mouth before standing up and walking to the painting of a battle.

She points at a colour a human king's golden crown on the ground covered in blood.

"Lovely choices, gold and blood red. We haven't done those colours yet! I'm excited to see what happens." Sanche writes something on a piece of paper that he pulls from his pocket.

"Well, I better be going to the ballroom to plan the event. Thank you Your Highnesses." Sanche bows and exits the room followed by Adler.

"Nice colours my love, you would be stunning in either colour." She nods and grabs my wrist before tugging me down the hall.

As she weaves down the many halls I wonder how she knows the layout so well. We end up at the giant indoor garden I made a couple of hundred years ago when I toke up gardening.

Living a long time I toke up different hobbies all of which I eventually abandoned and Evelyn found one of them.

She opens the doors and the smell of fresh dirt and pollen hits me in the face, I smile at the scent forgetting how relaxing gardens are.

Evelyn drags me through the garden to the other side where a hot spring lies, surrounded by rose bushes and a small waterfall.

"You want to go in there?" She nods and lets go of my hand before walking into the hot spring.

I take off my shirt and then follow her into the spring, the water is nice and hot feeling much better than a bath.

Suddenly I hear a distance crash and the alarm system goes off. Evelyn looks at me in fear and I know I can't leave her here.

"Come on, you'll be safe with me." I take her hand and we rush out of the garden and down the halls.

We reach the bedroom and I see Oxford there smiling, he hands us each a towel and my love sits on a chair.

"We'll Your Majesty a group of humans known as the FBI have arrived and are currently wandering through the throne room," Oxford explains, that he is still smiling knowing the time to kill is dawning.

"Great, where is Adler?" Oxford sighs,

"He left a couple of minutes ago claiming to be having a meeting with a coven." I nod and look at Evelyn.

"You're going to stay here while Oxford and I investigate, okay?" She nods and we leave the room and hear the click of the lock on the door.

I put the towel around my shoulder and walk to the throne room, I open the door and watch forty men stare at me.

"What the Hell is going on here?" I demand, the men flinch and I catch Oxford smirking.

One man steps forward and stares into my eyes,

"Investigating, are you the owner of this residence?" The man asks, I nod and I see him tense.

"As the owner of this large palace, I want you out of my house, now!" I demand, they all flinch again but raise their guns instead.

"No," the man stares, Oxford steps forward and I see his fangs showing.

"Too late." He leaps forward and clams down on the first man's neck, blood spurts from his neck.

The rest of the men point guns at me and Oxford, another man steps forward.

"Move and we shoot," I smile and move my arm a fraction and earn a shot in the shoulder.

"Nice shot."
