Part 2

"Good morning, Stormy," The couple greeted

"Morning," Storm murmured

"How did my little girl sleep?" Steve asked

"Good except I remembered I have to go back to headquarters today," Storm answered

"Oh, Storm. It's not going to be that bad," Natasha said

"I have to see Wild Card again. Yes, it's going to be bad," Storm replied

"I understand you're hurt but you have to go back eventually," Steve pointed out

"Sure," Storm mumbled sitting down with her parents

(After they ate)

Storm and her parents got in the car and headed towards headquarters with Storm on her phone texting Bruce

"Storm, we're here," Steve said opening the car door. Storm and her parents waited for the tram and hugged

"Can't I go to the compound with you? Or stay with Yelena?" Storm asked

"Melody, you know your aunt is busy," Natasha whispered

"You'll be fine, Sweetie. Have a good day," Steve said hugging his daughter as the tram arrived

"Bye," Storm murmured getting inside the tram. The tram dropped her off at the entrance and she walked in. She arrived at the vault door and hesitantly opened it. The children all turned to her and gasped

"Storm!" Everybody screamed getting up and hugging her

"Hi," Storm whispered smiling but her smile faded as she laid eyes on Wild Card who was sitting there startled

(Wild Card's Pov)

I stared at Storm in shock she had changed so much. She looked around and groaned when she noticed the chair next to me was the only one available. Storm walked over and sat down but moved away and went on her phone immediately

"Hi, Storm. It's been a while," I mumbled

"It sure has," She sighed not looking up from her phone. I looked down awkwardly while she would laugh at her phone every constant while. I smiled remembering how happy I used to make her. No matter how upset she was I made her smile by buying her gifts and making sure she remembered how much I loved her...then she found out the truth...I was an idiot back then and that bet was just a stupid mistake. I wish I could go back and fix it just to tell her how I fell in love with her over time. I remembered so many happy moments including the first time we kissed...

(Flashback 1)

Storm and Wild Card were barely arriving on their first date under the moonlight. He had his arm linked to hers and slowly lead her to their location

"Here we are, Darling," He whispered pulling her chair out for her and kissing her hand
