Chapter 7-Getting prepared

   I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep but couldn't since I was thinking of the fight. I closed my eyes tightly and tried to stop thinking about it. I opened my eyes again e=when I heard voices outside. I look out the window and see Tommy, Tubbo, and Eret talking outside. I go downstairs and out the door to see what they're talking about.

   "I'm too tired to help you guys." Tommy says. "Can't you two get supplies by yourselves?"

   "I can go." I say walking out from the side of the cabin.

   "No y/n go back to sleep." Tommy tells me.

   "Phil said if I'm part of the family I get to help." I tell him. "And getting supplies is helping."

   "Yea but-"

   "Would you rather have me fight?"

   "Don't let them get hurt." Tommy says, making Tubbo and Eret nod. "Be careful." He ruffles my hair walking back to the door.

   "What supplies do we need?" I ask.

   "Materials for weapons and armour." Eret says

   "I got some materials earlier that we can use." I tell them.

   "What kind?" Tubbo asked.

   "Diamonds, iron, and gold." I pull a few diamonds out of my pocket.

   "Well that cut our time down a little." Tubbo says. "Let's go get some netherite." He starts leading us to the portal.

   "Has anything new happened in L'manburg?" I ask.

   "Not really." Eret says.

   "Oh Fundy joined." Tubbo says.

   "Who Fundy?" I ask.

   "A furry." Tubbo replies.

   "He's a fox hybrid." Eret tells me. I nod my head as we get to the portal. Tubbo steps in followed by me then Eret. A wave of heat hits me as I step out.

   "What level is netherie at?" Tubbo asks

   "The best place I've heard of is fifthteen." I told him. He starts mining down until getting to the level.

   "Stand back!" He yells as he lights a tnt. We ran back up the staircase he made. An explosion was heard and we walked back down. Some lava emerged so we quickly patched it. We continued doing this collecting as many nertherie scraps as we could. We went back to the overworld, made the scarps into netherite and created armour. With what I mined earlier we made more armour and weapons. We also made a few bows and a lot of arrows. We decided that was enough and said our goodnights. I went back into the cabin, went into my room and fell asleep.

   I was woken up early by Tommy the next morning. We gathered the few things Tubbo and Eret couldn't carry and made our way to L'manburg. We distributed the armour and weapons the best we could.

   "The durability of this armour could be a tiny bit better." Tommy says.

   "Wait, why am I the only one in diamond!?" Fundy asks.

   "Fundy, I don't have a helmet." Tommy tells him and Fundy throws a helmet at him. "Take this then, this is what Tubbo handed to me and I was a bit underwhelmed."

   "Yeah." Fundy says and chuckles.

   "Guys what the fuck." Tubbo says, making everyone chuckle a little.

   We were still waiting for Wilbur to show up so Tommy sent Eret and Fundy to get supplies.Tubbo, Tommy, and I sat in the caravan still waiting for Wilbur until Tommy looked out the window and saw Dream.

   "Shit shit." Tommy says walking outside with us following.

   "Man, I'm scared." Tubbo states and I nod in agreement.

   "I'm scared as well but listen to me." Tommy says. "We aren't gonna fall."

   Tommy climbs on the wall and tries talking to Dream and his friends. They continued firing arrows at him, not bothering to hear him out. He starts saying random words and tries to tell a joke about Technoblade. When Tubbo asked him about it he started yelling about struggling. Wilbur arrived and the two started yelling about their leader.

   "Calm, quiet, calm down both of you." Wilbur says as we run over. "Your getting panicky and there is no use in screaming at the top of our lungs for this all right?"

   "Wilbur I got something for you." Tubbo says.

   "What is it?" Tubbo hands him diamond armour. Wilbur looks up at Dream and throws the  armour into the water.

   "I appreciate the work you did but we don't fight with armour." Wilbur says.

   "As much as I agree with you Wilbur." Tommy says. "You know what? No, I stand by you."

   "Everyone come into the caravan and you can put on armour when it's needed." Wilbur says walking into the back. "Who? What happened to the roof?"

   "Yeah we don't have a roof anymore." Tommy states while putting cobblestone as a roof.

   "What should we do now?" Wilbur asks.

   "I don't know man, what do you think we do?" Tommy replies.

   "The element of surprise is needed." Wilbur says walking into the back. "We can't just go in guns ablazin. That's not the L'manburg way. The L'manburg way is we talk to them, lull them into a false place of security, and that's when we stab them in the back."

   "That's when we stab 'em" Tommy says back.

   Wilbur begins to read the Declaration of Independance. He doesn't read much before going outside and yelling to the others. We step outside and Wilbur says now is the time to put on our armour. Wilbur tells us he'll be doing reconnaissance as he was 'too old'. He decides to put Tommy in charge.

   "No matter what happens during this war," Wilbur starts. "No matter who wins and who loses. Just remember we're on the right side of history here. No matter what happens we are not the villains."

   "Dream said the fight is at my house." Tommy states. "Guys follow me."
