Consciousness fading in and out.

Buildings pass by so slow as if they were  imperfect still shots from a vintage movie. So blurred and dull.

"Help..." broken pleads pass through burning, strained tonsils. Each breath and cry feeling like razors scratching at the walls of your throat. Sore. Bleeding. "Anybody... help... me..."

"Run little rabbit..." a voice whispered from above. The words felt so close like a warm breath down the neck.

Bakugou didn't know where he was. They must have drugged him before sending him back out into the world. His mind was filled with fuzzy memories but he understood one thing. Nobody was here to save him out of the goodness of their heart.

A loud clatter of metal was enough to trip up Bakugou, making him stumble over discarded wood and whatever else that was laying in the musky alley. That sound was the silenced shot of a bullet meant to "encourage" him to keep running. "Damn bastard..."

Finally he saw light.

"How much longer are you going to be questioning my son for? He needs to rest." Mitsuki argued with the police who began questioning her son the moment he woke up. "Can't you see he's exhausted? He's been through enough of this bullshit."

"Mrs.Bakugou." Detective Ukai tried calming her down.

The angry mother swatted the detectives hand out of her face, "Don't you Mrs.Bakugou me! My son was missing for months and no hero or police force did nearly enough to get him back. His friends were going crazy looking for him and they did more than any of you ever could."

"Ma'am-"

"And who's the one who rescued him from those Yakuza that he was abducted by?" She rhetorically asked, "That crazy girl from the league who's on the run."

"Mom..." Bakugou spoke weakly, "That's enough. I already told them everything I know."

The second officer, Officer Takeda flipped through his pad of notes to make sure he got the story correct, "Let's go over this once more. So from what you recall, the Yakuza were force feeding you quirk diminishing pills to keep you weak."

"Yes." Bakugou lied. This was all apart of the plan. By blaming a random group of former Yakuza members that were willing to give up their freedom for "the cause", they would have former villains acting the part of a hero to manipulate societies views on good and evil. The story of a rogue, slasher school girl turning a new leaf was bound to gain the attention of the public.

"Do you remember anything that they said to you? Or did you ever overhear anything?"

Bakugou smacked his lips and leaned back against the lumpy pillow propped up behind him. "I just remember them saying things about wanting to eliminate people with villainous quirks."

"This is like Overhaul all overs again." Officer Takeda pinched the bridge of his nose and exhaled. That was one of the most stressful busts he's ever taken part in.

"Nah, he wanted to get rid of quirks all together. Not these guys though. They mentioned how my explosions were a danger to society. They wanted to make an example out of me."

Bakugou recited everything he was told by the Shin Sekai Order like he was reading off of a script. The story they were going to feed to the media was that he was targeted for his villainous quirk and unheroic tendencies. All they needed was a big name that people would know and care about. Katsuki Bakugou. The boy who placed at #1 at the sports festival. The boy who was once abducted by the League. The boy who is the top of his class. All these good deeds being erased because of his quirk. It highlighted the hate in the agenda that The Shin Sekai Order wanted to create chaos in society. They were going to amp up the prejudice that way their group could sweep in and collect the glory.
