Jace Garfield, a homeschooled gamer with too much time on his hands.

It summer break you see, so he was BORED. Key word 'was'.

His boredom lasted until, he got his grubby little hands on  'A LILY'S LOVE'. An otome game that was also an action game, with fights, prizes, etc. There were Easter eggs from other franchises as well. What he loved the most was the Romance part.

Unlike most otome games where it's only a heroine or if the protagonist is a male, it's a harem of girls, ALL( I'll be referring to it like this, try to not get confused ) has conquerable characters of both genders. Infact, the whole main cast can be conquered.

All except for,

Griffin Stoneberg.

And

Viola Peterson.

For now, let's talk about Griffin.

The irony was that Griffin had a LOT of simps so that fact was quite saddening for the players. Jace liked Griffin, he was an interesting character with a ...... complicated story and role. It so happened that Griffin was the heroine's  childhood sweetheart whom she forgot about, which made 95% of players certain that he was a conquerable character.

The story takes place in an academy called  Erised's Academy of Magic or EAM for short. You play as Lillian Hills.

Now on with Griffin's  story.

Griffin is the son of the Archduke and is the eldest child of the family. He's quite, calm and collected and has a talent in alchemy and sword fighting. He hates loud noises. He's quite protective of his family. He's also secretly a *#=;%'. Though he's not that great at socializing, so he never really interacted with any of the main cast. He meets the heroine in town and they get along well. So you can say the heroine is his first friend. He develops an obsessive crush on her though he isn't a murderous yandere. So in some events with other characters,  you can see Griffin in the background, listening in on the conversation.

Lillian has apparently forgotten about Griffin. There was no solid explanation as to why.

In the game, Lillian has some moments with Griffin in which you can tell by his emotions that he is trying to make her remember him. He cannot stand that Lillian is falling in love with other characters. He tries so hard to let go.

Then #$#$%-, the Main Villan of the story, presents him with a dilemma.

Join him in tearing down the city of  Eris ( the kingdom in which the characters live in, except for #$#$%- and his minions ) and Lillian will be his ( Griffin's)

                                                                OR

Refuse and everyone he cares about will be killed in front of his eyes, and he will be serving #$#%- forever.

As much as Griffin values the kingdom, he cannot bear the thought of his family, especially his little sister, Grace ( another important character in the game ) dying when he can prevent it. And yes, Griffin is a siscon, Grace is vice versa.

Winning Lillian over is also a plus point. So he agrees.

Then the Kingdom Quest begins. Lillian and the team you put together ( 5 other people ) embark on a journey to prevent the destruction of their kingdom. Grace was a mandatory member for plot purposes. After you get through all the levels and slay the bosses, you get the second highest chamber of the tower. There you see Griffin, who didn't look like he was in the right mind. His icy blue eyes were blood red. Then the dialogues. Grace tries to reason with her brother and tries to bring him back but to no avail. Then the fight happens. When you win ( your characters attack and defense stats should be high enough ) Griffin is on the ground, bleeding horribly, his eyes back to normal but almost faded. Grace is in tears and is trying to save her brother, when Griffin pulls an Itachi and touches her forehead. He takes off the goggles off his head, places it on her head and tells her " Tell mom and dad that I love them, I'll miss you my brave little Knight." He turns to the others and says "Don't feel guilty, you did what's right. Take care of yourselves and my sister for me."

"Promise me one thing, that you'll defeat #$#$%- , but spare him for he is naive and wanted to prove himself worthy of being the son of his late father."

Grace whispers " I will......"

Then,

Griffin breathes his last.

Grace starts crying uncontrollably while Lillian tries comforting her.The others vow to avenge Griffin's death but try to cause no harm to #$#$%-.

After defeating #$#$%-, who is expecting death after defeat, Grace walks up to him and tells " Get up. We are escorting you back to your kingdom."

The boy is surprised.

"We know why you did what you did. I hope your HAPPY!"

" Happy for what......?"

"Because of you my brother died!!! Your only still alive because I made a promise. To him. He wanted you to be spared."

"You.....he......dead....spared......?"

"Wha-, why are you crying now."

" He was......Important......to me."

#$#$%-  and the rest the go back, carrying Griffin's lifeless body . There was a public funeral held in honor of Griffin, who was an important figure in the kingdom. Many mourned.

Then the gang continue their school days.#$#$%- returns to his home, never to be seen again.

Then Lillian confesses to the character of your choice at the end of the 3rd year's graduation party ( not included in the harem and friendship routes ) and they live their happily ever after.

Of course the 2nd and 3rd years have their own adventures.

But the gang always remember to visit Griffins grave.

Grace is in a mad search for an artifact called 'The Artifact of Resurrection' which was rare.

In case you do find it ( the odds are like 0.00001%) and you use it on Griffin's dead body, he's revived BUT he has forgotten the heroine exclusively. So you have build up your friendship from scratch but have to give up you hopes for a romance tale with him because he's lost all feelings for Lillian .

That was the plot of ALL.

There was also a code hidden in the game for The genderbent version of Lillian, Luke Hills. The story is the exact same except that it's a hero instead of a heroine.

Oof I took so long that Jace is asleep now.

Goodnight Jace. You are in for a roller coaster of surprises.

Shhhhhhhh🤫. Don't tell him. It's a SURPRISE.
