It was Halloween and we all decided to dress up for the occasion. Dress up as the killers that is. Of course, I chose to dress like The Huntress.
It was difficult to design costumes with our limits supplies. They were definitely makeshift. However, between all of us and my expertise in forests, the costumes came out alright.
My costume was pretty good for being self-made. I can't wait to show her! Just as I finished my thought everything went dark as I was teleported to my next match.
I heard her humming from a distance. Well aren't I lucky? Getting her first try. I got onto a generator and hummed the same hum The Huntress sings.
The Huntress finally found me and picked me off of the generator and sat me on the ground. "What is this?"
I blushed and looked away. "It's Halloween today. I dressed up as you."
     "Odd."
     "I guess so."
She lifted my mask and planted a light kiss on my cheek. "You're weird."
The Huntress pulled my mask back down and gave me a small wave as she walked away.
I got back on the generator and my face was still red and I could barely work on my generator without a slip of the hand.

Our numbers were dwindled down. We tried saving everyone but she would always down everyone with her hatchets. Until eventually, until it was down to just Claudette and I.
Claudette was on a generator with me. She was dressed in a rather good Hill Billy costume. She even made makeup from the forest and made her face look contorted like his.
Our heartbeats started to pick up and Claudette slipped into a locker Dwight Style. I, however, stayed on the generator.
The Huntress came up from behind me and picked me up. She then pinned me against the wall. "Where is the other one?"
I could feel her warm breathe against my neck as she spoke. I took a big gulp and looked into her eyes. "I..I don't know." I quickly looked away breaking eye contact.

     "You're lying."

     "I'm not."

"I think you need to be punished."

     "I think not."

She let go of me and searched the surrounding area. I got back on the generator and occasionally glanced at the locker Claudette was in.
Once the heartbeat was gone Claudette stepped out of the locker to help me with the generator. "That sure was close."
     "Yeah it was."
"Why did she let you live?"
My face flushed and I slipped on the generator causing an explosion. "Ack! Sorry!"
     "It's fine just keep working."
This Huntress came back and Claudette used the same strategy. Dwight's Style.
Though, this move wouldn't fool Huntress a second time. As soon as she came back she kicked our generator then she looked at the locker.
"There wouldn't be anyone in here would there?"
     "Not- not at all."
     "You're such a liar."
She whipped open the locker and up went Claudette on her shoulder.
I stared in shock as she took her to the nearest hook. "Wait wait!" I chased them down and stood in front of The Huntress. "She- she doesn't have to die!"

"Of course she does. Now move tiny man."

     "No..."

"Would you prefer if it were you on my shoulder?"

A stood frozen and looked at her eyes with a pink tint glazing over my face. "Not at all."

     "Then move."

"What I can't just let her die. We're a team."

"I gave you your chance to leave, Jake." She shoved me to the ground and stepped over me and went over to the hook and placed Claudette on it.
She slowly turned to me and sped walk to me. I was sitting on my knees and watching as Claudette's body was grabbed by the entity and as she ascended.
I looked at the floor disappointed in myself. "She didn't have to die..."
The Huntress crouched in front of me resting her elbows on her knees. A smirk crossed her face as she looked at me. "Halloween's supposed to be scary isn't it?"
I slowly looked up at her and nodded.
She lifted my chin and peered into my eyes. "Then I'll make this the scariest night of your life." She whispered into my ear sending chills down my spine.
One would normally be scared in this situation but I couldn't wipe the protruding thoughts from my mind. That maybe tonight wouldn't be so scary after all.
