Just a few simple letters scribbled down on a torn piece of graph paper that couldn't have been more then an inch squared big. That's all it took for the pour 3rd year Eijirou Kirishima to break down in the middle of class.
And of corse it wasn't Denki's fault, he didn't know what was going on, it's just that his best bud had felt so.. droopy, lately and he wanted to check in!
He really didn't expect to turn around after about 30 seconds of waiting to see small saltwater globs falling down Eijirou's face, he wasn't even making any sound he was just sitting there silently crying. Denki didn't know how long the redhead had been crying, had he been crying before he passed the note? Why hadn't he noticed?
Was this all some sort of elaborate metaphor? 'Wait no, back track a bit denki this is real life not some fanfic' the blonde thought to himself quickly before shaking his head a bit turning all the way around and letting his hand shoot up to quickly grab the redheads forearm that was slightly elevated off the table.
Shaking him just enough to snap him out of his trance, it was like the sun and mars crashed together when the vibrant crimson and gold dusted butterscotch eyes clashed. Although it didn't last long cause right when Eijirou had realized he was crying he was gone.
Promptly standing up and bolting out the door before Aizawa could catch him with his scarf.
So Eijirou ran, and ran, and ran. He ran until his legs turned to jello and his head got fuzzy. He ran until his stomach ached with cramps and his constant flow of tears stopped the tsunami and let his face dry before stopping and catching his breath underneath a oak tree.
Sitting down and looking out over a soft park the redhead sighed in content, closing his eyes and letting the breeze brush against his damp face.
He heard soft footsteps approaching but he couldn't find it in him to fight back.
"Well that was quite a chase huh shit head?"
Eijirou felt a soft sharp pain on the side of his thigh where the ash blonde had kicked him. Scooching over a bit to make room for him, Katsuki's sat down next to the red head and looked the same direction.
"Listen, I know I'm not the best person to give you advice, but I'm a listener, trust me I've been in enough fights with the hag to listen when someone's talking to me" he said worth a quick eye roll. Eijirou felt his lips twitch up for a blink of a second until they returned to their down cast expression.
"I feel like I never get the time to think about what I want. I told my friend the other day that I aced my test and they didn't even care, I mean they litterally said 'oh, cool' and then left me on read until I asked about them. I feel like.. I don't have any real friends except for like 3 people. And the rest of the people are just using me for some type of 'training friend'."
"Training friend?"
"Yeah, like they use me to figure out what they want and don't want in a friend and then they leave me to go find their 'bestie', but I'm too much of a people pleaser to speak up about it!" He said with a dry laugh, chocked out from what was left of the water in his body. "I just don't feel liked you know? And I wish I could be like you and not care who likes me and who doesn't, but that's just not who I am, I need everyone to like me so much all the time: It's exhausting."
