Summary :
I remember when I was a kid being confused how my parents could ever love each other so much, they had virtually nothing in common! Even their personality's seemed incompatible. One day when I asked my dad he simply replied, "opposites attract is a rule of life, not just a rule of magnets."Maybe that explains how the grumpy tattoo artist fell for the too nice florist across the street, or maybe it was fate.
Notes: quirkless AU, they all kinda just have their own shops and businesses and stuff, obviously they're aged up and are in early to mid 20's, Idk I put all the ages in there somewhere so dw.
I tried my best to keep the characters in character for this one, disclaimer, I have no idea how flower shops, or tattoo parlors are run, I'm going off my own 'head canons' I guess you could say.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy and I luv you! bAi___________________________
"Aye-o kacchan! You here?" katsuki heard the doorbell of his shop chime and he looked up to see a face that he knew was not a customer, he groaned and looked back down at his bills.
"What do you want dunce face?" he said with a verbal bite towards the poor electrician. Kaminari sheepishly laughed the insult off and walked up to his friends desk and leaned over, looking at the fellow blonds paperwork, it just seemed like taxes and/or bills so kaminari opted to look at the small book katsuki had of all the designs he could do and what price they were, katsuki also did custom designs, they just costed more or less depending on the size, colors, amount of colors, and placing.
"Unless you want a tattoo I suggest you get your grubby hands off my book." Katsuki said putting his pen down for a second and glaring at the Walmart pikachu.
"It says right here that you can look even if you're not a customer!" Kaminari defected. Katsuki groaned and let the boy flip through the laminated pages of the book as he singed paper after paper, wrote check after check, and filled in box after box. About 5 minutes later the door jingled again, katsuki looked up hopeful for a customer so he could take his mind off paperwork and loud plastic pages flipping.
"Hey bakubabes, sup kami! Ooo~ we lookin though the book again?" Mina said skipping in saying hello to her friends before joining the lemon haired blond with looking at the laminated pages.
"The hell do you want you chewed up piece of bubblegum?" Katsuki said dragging his hands down his face to show how annoyed he was at the two.
"Wow rude, I came in here to tell ya something but I forgot, oh well, oh! Look at that one!" She said looking up and shrugging then excitedly pointing to one of the designs. The door bell chimed one final times katsuki tightened his grip on the pen he was holding, ready to snap it in half.
"You tell them yet ash?" A ravenette who had braces for a bit too long as a kid walked in, Bakugou picked up a pencil and broke it in half. "Whoa! Relax bro! Unlike these two cheep assholes I might get a tattoo today." Sero said walking up and pushing the two idiots out of the way, while one stepped back up and helped his friend pick a tattoo, the other stood with her legs a little spaced out and put a hand on her chin, squinting her eyes and looking around the small tattoo shop.
"Pinky the fuck are you doing?" Katsuki asked now up from his desk and putting on his gloves, making sure the needles were sharp enough, even if he did it before he opened shop this morning.
"'m tryin' to remember what I was gonna tell you guys.." she said turning around and looking out the shop window. Her eyes landing on the building across the street that was sandwiched in between two other buildings with a narrow alleyway barely separating them, like katsuki's shop, it was two levels with a small apartment on the second, and room for a shop underneath, it was a rectangular building with the long side facing the street, it had a big window in front and a clear door on the right side of the building, through the window you could see empty shelves and a counter on the far left, a door behind it, leading to a back room. Mina gasped and clapped her hands together, scaring the three boys a bit, Bakugou fumbled with an ink tube then caught it and glares at the girl. Kaminari and Sero looked at the girl with amused faces as she got glared at by the ash blond. "I remember now! Somebody's moving in to the shop across the road!"
