A Yamayama Story
It was the start of December and the players were getting ready for break. As they were cleaning the gym Kageyama decided to approach his fellow beta.
Hey there Yamaguchi, you seemed a little off today. Are you ok? He asked this slowly walking towards him. He then softly leaned down looking at him while touching his story. Yamaguchi blushed slightly at the others actions not knowing what to respond with.
Before he had the chance to talk he was pulled back from a strong force making Kageyamas hand slip off of his shoulder.
Hes doing fine, there's no need to worry about him. Slightly looking back they could already tell who the tall person behind him was. Tsukishima had a dark aura around him, having Yamaguchi pulled towards him. Tsukishima had always been protective of the shorter boy; sometimes too protective of him.
Yamaguchi looked up admiring his best friend. He had always looked up to him no matter what, but sometimes he felt uncomfortable on how Tsuki would suddenly pull him away.
I wasnt asking you, I was asking him. Kageyama let out a voice that was too low even for his liking. He lifted his head gazing at the taller male in front of him trying to intimidate the other.
He grabbed the other betas hand tugging him towards him, trying to release his grip from the other. They kept pulling back and forth trying to claim possession of the boy in the middle.
Guys Im fine I promise. You shouldnt fight over stupid things like this. Yamaguchi then pulled his grip away from both and started running to the club room to change back to his normal clothes.
Both the beta and alpha stood there dumb founded from what had just happend. But from everything that was going on they didnt seem to notice the two omegas that had been standing at the other end of the gym the whole time.
Hinata and Yachi were by the gyms door listening to every word that came out of their mouths during the argument.
Yachi was as happy as a bird can be of the betas actions towards the green haired boy. Hinata on the other hand couldn;t help but have a feeling of jealousy that the beta was more worried about Yamaguchi than him. Hinata had had his fair share of injuries that the setter had barely blinked an eye for, yet he had been worried about the pinch server that wasnt hurt or sick, He could feel his fist clench turning a bit pale.
Its so nice that Kageyama was worried about Yamaguchi. Usually he wouldnt care that much about someone's well being. Its good that hes starting to open up more to people, dont you think? Yachi asked this in a little too high of a pitch.
Of course Hinata was happy that the beta was starting to open up more but he wanted to be the one that he would open up to instead.
Yeah, its good. He looked at the alpha and beta one more time before deciding to walk back home without the setter.
Back in the gym the two boys stared at each other giving off bad pheromones.
Why dont you just let him speak his own mind instead of making the decisions for him. The beta said this with an irritated tone. I know you two are childhood friends but you need to learn to let go. He scowled before picking up his stuff to leave. Once he left Tsuki couldnt help but have a feeling of irritation. He knew what Kageyama had told him was true but he didnt want to risk losing someone dear to him because of a pitiful mistake. As he stood there Yam entered the gym dressed back to his normal clothes.
Hey, did Tobio leave already? Saying this with a dejected tone made Tsukishima angry on how much he cared about the setter. And Todio? Since when has he started to call him by his first name?
