"Damn." I chuckled and shut my phone off. I knew she moved on but I didn't know she moved that far. I ran my hands over my face and grabbed my keys. I had to pick Jaeda up and get AJ from his mom. I walked downstairs and got in my car before speeding down the road to the school. I'm always late to this bitch. "Wassup baby girl." I glanced in the backseat as Jaeda got in.
"What's wrong with you? Who I need to fight?" I asked. She huffed and crossed her arms before handing me a paper. I read over it and my eyes bulged out my head. "So they tryna expel you? And they didn't think to call me? The fuck did you do Jaeda?" I furrowed my eyebrows and turned around to the backseat. "I hit Mrs. K." She mumbled. "Speak up." I looked at the tears forming in her eyes. "I hit Mrs. K!" She yelled and started crying.
I ran my hands over my face and threw the paper on my passenger seat. "I know exactly who yo lil ass need to talk to." I chuckled and pulled off. I sent a text to Tiffany and said I'll be late, as I made my way to Miyah house.

"Bae." "Bae." "Bae." "Bae." "What." He groaned and pulled the cover over his head. I laughed and kissed his cheek. "When do you wanna take maternity pictures?" I asked. "Tomorrow or something." He yawned and went right back to sleep. I smacked my lips and got up, and walked downstairs. The kids were at practice so I didn't have to pick them up for a good 2 hours. And Draco lazy ass been sleep all day.
I went into the kitchen and got myself some watermelon with some salt and sat on the couch. As soon as I got comfortable someone knocked on the door. "Fuck you." I mumbled and went to look out the peephole. Antonio was standing there with Jaeda and I was confused.
I opened the door and noticed she was crying. Of course my mom instincts kicked in and I slowly bent down to be face to face with her. "What's wrong, Jae? I need to beat him up?" I asked, glancing at Antonio who was typing on his phone. "Tell her what you did today." He pulled a paper out his pocket. "Help me up." I sighed and grabbed his arm to pull myself up. I looked at the paper and looked back at Jaeda. "I h-hit the t-teacher cause I w-was mad." She stuttered and rubbed her eyes.
I sighed and Antonio chuckled. "Ion know what to say or do no more. Lil bad ass-" "Wait wait, I don't think cussing at her is gonna make it better. Y'all come in." I moved over and they walked into the living room. I sat down across from Antonio and Jaeda sat next to me. "Whenever your dad yells at you, it makes you scared or nervous doesn't it?" I asked her and she nodded.
"Antonio you're the reason she's acting out. You can't verbally and emotionally abuse a kid and then expect them to be on their best behavior, like you're spiking up her anxiety and it's making her more irritable and she has to find some way to take her anger out. Maybe if you started talking to her with respect, she would trust you and she won't feel the need to take her frustrations out on the other kids." I explained and he nodded.
"And w-whenever you yell at me, y-you tell me to stop crying but I'm crying because you yelled at me!" She explained and I smacked my lips. "Really Tony?" I raised my eyebrow. "Man,-" he got cut off by Draco running down the steps with a gun in his hand. "Bro I'm ready to shoot bitches. Why is he here?" He crossed his arms and I sighed. I pushed myself up off the couch and walked over to the stairs with him. "Miyah you keep being friendly to his ass he gon try and fuck with us, then ima have to kill him and you and it won't be a good experience." He shook his head.
"Well he came over here and Jaeda was crying cause she got expelled. So now I'm talking to them, is that fine?" I asked with a slight attitude. "Ight whatever." He chuckled and went back upstairs. I went and sat back down next to Jaeda. "Look Tony, you gotta be more gentle and understanding when it comes to stuff like this. You can't yell at a kid and get mad when they cry, cause that's what most people do. So control your anger and watch how her behavior improves." I shrugged.
"Alright ima take your advice, come here Jae." He patted the seat next to him. She sat next to him and he hugged her. I pouted and fake wiped my eyes. "I'm sorry about loosing my temper and I'm sorry about hurting yo feelings. I love you no matter what ok?" He said and she nodded. "I love you too." She said softly.
This is the side of Antonio I liked. The soft and vulnerable side. After they left, I finally got to eat my watermelon. "Miyah!" Draco yelled and ran down the stairs. I furrowed my eyebrows and watched him speed towards me. "Fuck is wrong with you?" I laughed and he showed me his phone. Some unknown number sent him a picture of our house and I looked up at him.
"We gotta leave bruh, ion like this shit. Some random know where me and my family laying our heads at? Fuck nah bro." He rambled and I kept looking out the window. "So where are we supposed to go?" I asked, pulling myself up with his arm and he shook his head. "At this point them bitches could be following us. Ion even feel right getting a hotel." He sighed and I rubbed my temple.
"Can I at least pick my kids up? I need to know where they are-" "Ight let's go. I'm not leaving you here by yourself. Just in case we got to a hotel or something, pack up some bags for y'all and ima help. I wanna know who this nigga is." He sighed and I walked upstairs behind him. It's always something.
