Draco was waiting for us in the dining room as we walked down. Narcissa decided to stay behind a little, so it wouldn't be suspicious for the others.
- Alina, where the hell was you? I wanted to dance with you but you weren't there! - Draco complained and I smiled at him. I had no idea what I was supposed to say, so I sat down, praying that Narcissa would be here in no time.
I tried to tell Draco that I didn't see him either and that I did search for him. After two minutes of arguing about where I was, Narcissa appeared at the door and walked in.
- Morning mum. - Draco greeted me and turned back to me. I just smiled at Narcissa as she said her good mornings to us.
I looked around, expecting to see Lucius come in too but Draco's laugh pulled my attention back to him.
- Father is away today. He said he had better things to do than watch as the elves clean up. - Narcissa frowned at her son's words but smiled anyways.
- Do you think he knows that we're his family? - She asked and Draco laughed. I didn't feel too comfortable but smiled and watched them speak about Lucius.
I didn't see any sparkle in either of their eyes as they talked about him. Narcissa looked nearly numb and Draco had no love in his voice. They didn't smile or anything, just conversing about Lucius and what a shitty father and husband he is.
I didn't know much about their relationship with them but their conversation about him showed that they didn't even really have one with him. He was mostly absent from all the family gatherings, left after balls early and didn't come back for days. There were times when he left for a week or two, no note or anything.
It was sad to hear that Draco never had a normal father, but Narcissa for sure was a great mother.
We stood up from the table and Narcissa looked at both of us, her mouth opening for a question.
- Did you pack your bag, Draco? - Narcissa asked and repeated the same question for me too. We both shook our heads no and smiled. Draco took off to his room and me to mine.
I started to pack my bags, all my clothes and smaller belongings, but I didn't bring too many things with me, so it was pretty quick.
After two hours of packing, I was nearly done and walked to Draco's room.
I laughed as I stepped in and saw him struggle with one of his bags. I walked up to him and helped him.
- I have no idea what I should bring with me. This bag is mostly shoes and jewellery. There are some sunglasses too. - He whined and sat on the floor next to the bag.
- Draco where are your clothes? - I looked at him and he dropped his gaze to the floor. He pointed his finger at his walk-in closet and I shook my head.
- Go, get your bag for the clothes and I'll help you. - I said and a smile appeared on his face. He quickly stood up and walked to his closet taking out a bag that was twice as big as mine.
- Alright, let's fill this. - He said and pulled me with him.
We were sorting through his clothes for nearly four hours and we were only halfway.
I groaned, and Draco looked up at me. He laughed and went back to showing me outfits that he liked or he wasn't sure about.
After another three hours, we were nearly done. Now we were sorting through all his skin care products and hair products that he wanted to take to Hogwarts.
It was dinner time when we finished and we walked down to the dining hall. Lucius sat there, at the head of the table, reading something. He didn't bother to look up as we walked in and sat down.
