The largest city in the land of Lumane is Constallos, home of the adepts. Ruled by King Vertusk alongside with his army. He is one of the most powerful and influential people. As the king with the most power, he oversees a lot of developing cities and help them develop as well. Vertusk is allies with Endura city's king, Charles IV, and Ravenblade's Queen, Serah, two of the most powerful cities in Lumane.
Although as generous as he might seem, Vertusk has its own fair share of heated rivalries as well. Altharien city's King Jopsen Arcvarus has had his men ambushed by Vertusk several times on several mining spots. Hidden murders from Ryjal city involving Kai Rover, right hand of Vertusk, has been lurking around in the news. Many more cities have had trouble with the Constallos army and continued to do so over a lot of things, more frequently in resource spots. But what truly sets him off is the city of Lestia and its queen, Alexandria. The 2 cities have the most heated exchanges and rivalries during the annual grand council meeting even way before the magic era. This is because the great grandfathers of both Alexandria and Vertusk were enemies long ago, battling over Constallos's next king. Vertusk's great grandfather won but suffered 1/3 of Constallos due to the other half wanting the other one instead. As a result, the city was divided into two. The first group retained its name Constallos, and the remaining 1/3 merged with an exisiting city called Nimsha and renamed it Lestia.
Before the split, pre-Constallos was known for their top-notch soldiers. They were the best of the best. After the split, adept military commanders chose to move away from Constallos and were determined to build a new home. Thus, in the present day, Constallos's military power is very similiar to Lestia's.
Alexandria's grandfather needed better soldiers for covert operations. Thus, when the magic era began, he had invested a lot of resources into magic. He built his own team of magic researchers to greatly improve his army. He also formed a group that consists of the best spellcasters and warriors for high risk missions. He called it the "Rose Guard Sentinels", aimed to be able to carry any mission out, to master the use of magic in harmony with traditional combat, and to ultimately protect one person, and that is the little girl Rose Alexandria, who later became the Queen of Lestia, and the head of the Sentinels.
