Chapter Twenty Six: A Mess

Hey, thank you so much for everyone who's been really understanding about why I haven't been updating. I just happen to be in a mood currently where I need to write something, so here's another chapter :) <3

Author POV

You rush out of Yacchan's room, blushing. You pace through the boring, white halls of the school, on the way to the dorm that you share. Your pace quickens as you start getting closer to the room. The scenes from last night rewind in your mind, reminding you of the events, of which you had no idea how to feel about them. The fact that Yacchan brought you back to his dorm caused your face to flush a peachy shade of pink, you shake your head at the thought.

You finally reach your dorm, twisting the shining nob of the door. You push it open before quickly shutting it again, only to sink down to the floor, back leaning against the door. You reach your hand into your pocket, fishing out your phone.

9am.

You unlock your phone, checking your messages. There are two particular messages that caught your eye;

Yacchan: 'I really enjoyed last night N/n! I hope we can hangout again soon <3'

Yuri: 'Hiiiiiiiiiiiii after class hangout dorm ^v^'

You let your lips rest in a small smile, the butterflies in your stomach not disappearing. That was until you realised you had classes. You know can't miss anymore of your school work, as you've missed enough already. You get up from the white, wooden door, sighing as you do so. Opening the draws which hold your clothes, you pick out a clean uniform, quickly putting it on. You rush out of the dorm, still tying your tie as you sprint down the halls. You exhale in relief as you make it to your next class, taking a seat at the back of the class next to Toono.

"Hey Y/n." Toono whispers, leaning over towards you. Things with you and Toono have been pretty good, you're starting to see him as a close friend, even as more than a friend.

"Hi." You reply, smiling as you write down notes. Toono returns the smile.

"So uh Y/n, I have something to a-ask you, I didn't get to ask it the other day."  he avoids eye contact, fidgeting pwith his fingers, "Want to go on a d-date with m-me?"

Toono's question shocks you, making you unsure how to respond. Should you say yes? Or would that just ruin the friendship you and him have? Thoughts race through your mind. You frantically try to think of a response that wouldn't hurt his feelings or ruin his hope, because you didn't want to say yes, but you didn't want to reject him. You weren't sure of an answer. You look up at Toono, opening your mouth to answer.

"You two at the back. Y/n and Toono. Detention for talking in class." The teacher scolds, pointing a wooden ruler at the two of you. You were about to protest, but before you could even get a word out of your mouth, they already went back to teaching the lesson.

Class finishes 20 minutes later, you exit the classroom, heading to the cafeteria. Before you even get down the hallway, someone pulls you to the side. You look up at the person, recognising the face as Yuri's.

"What's up?" You ask, looking at him.

You don't have enough time to protest as Yuri grabs your face, connecting the gap between yours and Yuri's lips. He kisses you passionately, slowly, almost as if he was waiting for you to approve. Before you can even respond, someone crashes into your body, knocking you to the floor. Your head connects to the smooth flooring with a bang. Everything went dark as you were swept away into unconsciousness.

Kai's POV

I lean over to Jordyn, opening my mouth to speak. Jordyn and I have become good friends over the last couple days. Today I'm going to ask her on a date. I hope she'll say yes, but I'm not sure if she will. We haven't known eachother long, but I feel like we've been best friends for years. She's so adorable, I love her so much.

"Hey Jordyn," I start, gaining her attention, "do you want to go on a date with me?" She looks at me, shock in her glistening eyes.

"Yes! Yes, I'll go on a date with you." Jordyn replies, wrapping her arms around me. I enjoy her embrace, hugging her back. I'm so happy, I feel like I'm flying.

Suddenly, breaking both Jordyn and I out of our daze, someone takes her hairclip. I stand up, looking at the man, he has blue hair and is wearing all blue. I try to snatch the hairclip, he dodges. The bastard is smirking, almost as if he finds it amusing. Disgusting. He runs away with the clip, and I ofcourse chase after him.

I sprint down the halls, in pursuit of the guy. I'm not watching where I'm going, bumping into people and trash cans everywhere. It takes me a few seconds to realise that I had run into Y/n, knocking them to the floor. I'm such an idiot. I rush them to the school nurse with the blue haired bastard and some other random dude. I'm sorry Y/n, I've fucked up again.

A/n: i hope u enjoyed this chapter, its been like so many months since I've updated, im so sorry. Updates still won't be regularly posted, I'll just write when I want to without forcing myself like how I was before as it means u get better chapters when I actually want to write them yk
