Parapraxis : A slip of tongue or pen or other error thought to reveal unconscious wishes or attitudes.
I was never surprised of how clumsy people could be considering the fact that my own bestfriend was the epitome of clumsiness but that did not prepare me for the clumsiness that Zephyr displayed.
"Did you finish?" He asked as he took the last bite of his ice cream
"Yeah."
"I'll throw the cups." He said and jumped up, extending his palm towards me. "It's fine, I'll come with you." I said.
"I'm a gentle man," he puffed out his chest dramatically.
Men and their ego.
"Fine then," I said quietly. "But be careful, the floor is wet." I murmured as an after thought.
"I'm not a child." He huffed just like a child. I nodded my head wordlessly and handed him my cup, he strode towards the garbage bin and I watched him throw it in, he turned around and shot me a smug smile and a peace sign.
This man child is going to be the death of me.
And right as he reached me, he slipped. Falling flat on his face.
I snapped my head to the side, pretending I didn't know the man lying on the floor as a couple walked out of the parlour and looked weirdly at the still Zephyr, his long arms and legs spread out to resemble a human sized starfish. A sinfully sexy starfish.
Stop.
Yep. I don't know anyone.
Walking slowly towards him as they passed by, I nudged my foot against his shoulder and jumped back when he suddenly flipped over, groaning dramatically, his whole face drenched.
Well, it wasn't my idea to eat ice cream while it rained.
"I think I'm going to die!" He wailed
"Okay then." I muttered.
"Have some compassion woman! A beautiful gentle man like me is too hot to die, it's a huge, huge loss to the female population in this world." He screeched dramatically. And then he proceeded to wriggle on the wet floor.
