I finally started slowing down again, I became pregnant with the final baby. Last one honestly. August was happy to find out, he really loves being a father. The kids love him so much. I'm just grateful for my family. Like to have what I wanted when I was young is fulfilling.

Blair and I were talking about this, how we have what we didn't have growing up. Our parents around. Like the fact to have parents, but yet they're rarely in your life, it's sad.

As I grew older my mother and I became close and she helped me raise my kids. After my dad's retirement ,from the navy, with a honorable discharge, doing it for 30 years, he pretty much moved to Florida and started a family with some lady.

We don't really talk like that, only on each other's birthday or the kids birthday, it's like a text sent, so it was shocking when he called wanting us to come visit .

The little girl in me just wanting to have a father in her life, was what pushed me to go. Plus it'll be great for him to finally see his grandchildren in person. He's only seen pictures.

"How are you feeling?" August said as he drove, one hand steering, while the other was resting on my small baby bump.

"I don't know, nervous... I feel it'll be awkward. And you know the kids don't really do strangers. It's sad he's considered a stranger."

"B he's not a stranger."

"Not if you don't introduce him in that way."August replied.

"Kids you know who we're going to see?"August said aloudly.

"No."they replied. August just glanced at me.

"We're going to see your grandpa." I said.

"We got a grandpa?!" Aubri exclaimed.

"Cool!" AJ said.
"I can't wait to meet grandpa!" Jada exclaimed. Jade was knocked out.

"Yea you all have a grandpa, he can't wait to meet yal." August said, disappointed that I didn't tell them who they were seeing.

"I have my own grandpa, hopefully he's as fun as Kelsey's grandpa.I have to tell her I do have one." Aubri said. She was excited.
They really don't have a grandfather in there life. Like they heard of Blair's father, but never met him. It's just been their grandmas' so it's kinda uplifting hearing there excitement to have a grandpa.

The ride there, they were just talking about what they think he's like and what they'll do.

"What if he's not what they expect." I said lowly to August,holding back tears.

"Don't worry just let things flow." August reassured as he held my hand and kissed it.

When we finally pulled in the carport, my heart dropped to my stomach. I haven't seen my father since I was 9. He wasn't there when I was born since he was in the Navy. He'd come at random times throughout the time he was in my life. It'll be like 6-12 months I'd go without seeing him. We'd take pictures each time he came. So he seen me when A week after I was born because he used his emergency leave to see me. Then I was 6 months, 1 in a half, 3, 5, 6,7,and 9. After that something happened between my parents and he never visited me again. His visits were spent in Florida. I believe it was because he cheated with the woman he was in the Navy with. All I knew my father for as I grew up, was getting me a credit card and letting me go crazy with it and I never had to pay it off he'd do it.

"You ready?" August asked breaking me out of thought .

"Yea." I said.

We all got out the car. August carried Jade in and everyone followed behind me.
