'Wait... HE HAS A QUIRK?!?' Shouted Kenji and Satsu.
'Yeah? Is that such a problem?' replied Rei.
"How do you know he is good and not like the others?" Said Satsu.
"Guys i'm still here... And if you want to know if I'm trustworthy how can I prove it to you all?" Said Denki nervously scratching his neck.
"Well if you really want to prove no threat to us tell us about your quirk and why you where out there at a base camp by yourself?" Questioned Satsu (Did I forget to mention how she is so smart?!)
"So my quirk is electrification I can control electricity and shoot it out from my hands at whatever voltage I want but the higher the voltage the higher the chance of me going brain dead for a while the time varies depending on how much electricity I used. I can show you what a bit of my power looks like if you would like."
"Yes we would like a demonstration of your quirk but not enough to ruin our base of course" Said Satsu concentrating. "Ok" said Denki nervously, He then turned around and faced the wall but is still visible to the family he closed his eyes and activated his quirk at first all you could see were little sparks coming out of his hand but then those sparks grew and connected into currents of electricity running through his hand, Kaminari then brought his other hand to a close proximity to his other hand with the electricity running through it and then the some of the electric currents jumped to his other hand which then created a visible bridge between both hands. Is that enough or do you want to see more?" Questioned Kaminari.
"Show the highest amount you can handle from your training." Commanded Rei looking intensely at the electricity still running through his hands. "Alrightt." Denki then started to extend the length between his hands while stepping back from the wall and the electricity then started to largen and branch of each other making it look like lightning and it kept getting bigger and bigger until it was like 10 1/2 ft long!
"Impressive for now but there is still so much more we could do to improve upon your quirk but it does look like quite a useful quirk and strong too!" Stated Kenji enthusiastically.
"Is there anything else you can do with your quirk apart from shoot out electricity?" Questioned Satsu.
"Yeah i can send electric frequencies or recieve them and i can feel the electric signals running through our bodies" (I know the last bit isnt really something kamimari has shown in mha that he can do i just thought it would be a cool thing to add that will kinda help with the plot line)
"Kaminari-kun you are AWESOME" said kenji excitedly.
"Welcome to the family i guess" said rei rubbing the back of his neck.
