Six years later .........
She knew for a fact packing up her life into the back of her car wouldn't solve all of her problems.
Grace had spent the entirety of the night before convincing herself that what she was doing was the right thing.
Her past was something she never ever wanted to be reminded of, and if that meant moving that's what she was willing to do.
graces brother Tim came out carrying the last box. He avoided eye contact with his parents as they passed him on the door step, as he made his way down the small pathway of the front garden he could hear the distinct noise of the door hinges Squeaking.
He turned back toward to door just in time to see his father close it behind him angry that his father didn't care about the fact he was letting his only daughter leave under these circumstances.
Tim mad he way to open passenger door, he placed the last box on the seat and closed the door before making his way round to the driver side, where Grace was waiting to say good-Bye.Grace pushed herself of the side of her car, she gave her brother a weak smile as he came round to hug her.
'It's ok little brother, I promise you'll be fine here now'
She felt him squeeze her small waist even tighter.
'You shouldn't have to leave Grace, none of this is your fault our parents should be supporting you not kicking you out!'
Grace pulled away placing her sunglasses over her eyes to avoid her brother seeing her watery eyes. 'It's ok I promise, I'm making enough money off of YouTube now to move out anyway. This just gave me the push I needed'
She smiled down at him one last time before turning and opening her car door. After another brief hug from her brother, she slid into the drivers seat and closed the door.Tim moved back as his sister pulled away, a small smile playing on his lips 'at least now hopefully you'll be happy sis' he whispered to himself as he watched his sister drive away.
