Writer's Age: 16
Feelings: happyHave you seen a girl dressed in red
Limbs are trembling, heart is pounding yet she's smiling.
Waving her hand on the crowd trying to win the crown
She smiles on the cheering crowd flashing her sweetest smile
The sun is high up in the sky, every one is trying their gown
Colors up in the sky matches down my deep round eyes
The shoes in her feet started to hurt
Every one is excited to goThe day seems to get longer, today seems to be hotter
And as she walks thru the stage she hears a loud crowd waiting for her
A loud cheering crowd shouting her name
Noticed some few friends trying to cheer Jumping and screaming into their chair
Some are guarding the barriers to keep her safeOn the side of the stage she anxiously stand
She on the red dress looks at her side, saw a familiar pair of round eyes, looking at her and hyping her upShe smile and laugh up on the stage
She finishes the day not with the crown but with the crowd who cheered and support her all throughout the day.
Gained another experience, love and support from the people she knows and from the people she doesn't know.
She on the red dress is me
I may not be able to go home with the crown but that day I go home with the buddies and my mom.note: this is written by me based on how I think my friend perspective on her special day as her school project.
