The Halloween Prank

Spring

             I would like to say that I was the first one up, but it's not a good thing to lie about. Galaxy was up all night, the poor girl, when I got to the main floor she was leaning on the kitchen counter with her hands propping her head up.

"Are you alright, Galaxy?" I asked in my best worried voice. "You were up all night."

It took Galaxy a little while to answer, but I couldn't blame her, if I was up as long as my friend it would take a while for me to answer someone too.

"I think I have a headache, everything is spinning." Galaxy answered groggily, trying to stand up straight.

Walking toward her I could see that she needed to get some sleep or take some painkillers, if we had any. Putting her arm over my head, I started walking her upstairs to let her sleep for a while, then all heck broke loose as we reached the stairs. The rotten, egg smelling water started to rise rapidly.

"Fridge." Galaxy mumbled.

Fridge? What about it? Spring started to wonder, there was nothing special about it. Suddenly something hit me, she keeps the painkillers on top of the stupid thing. Apparently the sound of wet steps creaking woke Void from his peaceful rest. His Obsidian colored eyes glinted brightly but they were still clouded from sleeping. His eyes widened when he saw Galaxy in her weakened condition.

"Wha........"

I cut him off. "Take her. Now."

As he came down it was clear that he lost hours of sleep. I watched him sweep her feet out from under her and carry her to the top. I have one thing left to do, a fun little game called get the container and water.
