There were once two people, I called them Ophelia and Henry, they lived in oxford, in autumn. They would visit old libraires together, curled up with blankets and teas they would sit at windows all night, reading while the heavy rain poured down in streams. Sometimes they would look over their books, sharing a dreamy look as if they would share a secret no one else knows about. If there was an evening full of fog they would go out, merging hand in hand through little passages and hidden ways where the walls were covered with ivy. They would wear tweets and blazers as well as turtlenecks and heavy coats and dance in the rain under dimly lit streetlights to a song only the two of them could hear. They would fall asleep listening to Mozart and sit at a fireplace hour for hours discussing poetry and drinking red wine until they fell asleep in the old brown leather armchair they found while thrifting. When he played piano, she would sit next to him observing the movement of his fingers as if this was the source of her oxygen.
They never made it to be a story, but when I think about them, I can hear the crackling sound of leaves on a sidewalk and the smell of old books and tea. So, I wanted to say thank you, thank you for making me believe in love and romantic, thank you for making autumn appear beautiful and let me see every fallen or coloured leave as a reminder of the ones I love. Thank you for being my autumn dream. When winter occurred and you two didnt make it in a story, I knew I had to let you go, I almost felt guilty because I took so much from you and never brought you to life. So, I wrote this, hoping that I could manifest what I loved so much about your story, it wasnt a story about heroes or love, it was just life. One of the most ordinary extraordinary life's I ever saw, lived with so much intensity I wish I could hold forever. So goodbye my autumn dream and hail and farewell, Ophelia and Henry.
A/N: Okay so another one, i am definitly not emotionally stable anymore...
