"SO, HOW WAS THE appointment?" Hunter asked Quinn, as they sat on the floor of the boy's bedroom, playing snap.

Quinn smiled slightly, "Yeah. It was good. It's a girl."

Hunter's eyes lit up, "Really? That's amazing."

"Yeah." Quinn nodded.

"I'm sorry I couldn't make it," The brunette apologised, "But I had some stuff to do with my Mom."

"I understand," The girl told him, "Family's important."

They sat in a small, comfortable silence.

"Hunter, can I ask you something."

"Of course."

"Your parents are still together, right?" Quinn asked.

"Yeah," Hunter nodded, "Why?"

"It's just, I never see her." Quinn shrugged.

Hunter went still, swallowing thickly, "She, uh, she's not well. She's really not well at all." He croaked out, making Quinn's face fall, as she pulled him into a hug.

"Oh, Hunter, I'm so sorry." She whispered, stroking his back in comfort.

"I'm so scared, Quinn."

"I know," The girl frowned, "But I'm here."

Hunter and Quinn sat in the choir room, waiting for their first Glee rehearsal without 'Sue's Kids', after their covert jam session with said kids.

"He wanted to name her Drizzle?"

"Yep," Quinn nodded, agitated, "And then he said that he wished I was more like Rachel."

Hunter rolled his eyes, "Oh my God. I'm sorry, Quinn." He frowned, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as Mr. Schue rounded them up.

"All right. Great news, guys," He told them all, "Brought the band with me, and I think that we have our number for sectionals."

No-one said anything.

"Mr. Schue?" Rachel spoke up, "We don't like what this has become."

"Don't you guys see? That is how Sue wants you to feel. Giving up doesn't help anyone but her," The man told them, "Look, if it were up to me, we would all perform together at sectionals. But it's not up to me anymore, okay? Sue's gonna do her song, and we are gonna do ours. Sue's Kids are singing about hate... literally. So, I thought we would try a kinder approach," He said, handing the group sheet music, "All right. Finn and Rachel, come up here. You're gonna take the leads."
