It was pouring rain outside. Everyone was sitting in the living room, watching some random action movie when Danielle dramatically sighed, and everyone suddenly focused on her.
"What's wrong, bambina?" Stefania asked as she came out of the kitchen with a white kitchen towel in her hands.
"Nothing," Danielle looked down at her fingers when she felt her cheeks blushing. Stefania had that effect on her.
"Tell me, what's wrong?" Stefania sat down next to Danielle. "Please," She added as Danielle shook her head.
"I missed you," Danielle quietly said while playing with Stefania's fingers.
"But you saw me like five minutes ago," Stefania giggled as she pulled Danielle into a tight hug.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know that there's a certain amount of time in which you can't miss someone," Danielle said while placing a kiss on Stefania's cheek.
"Quit being dramatic," Cody looked at Danielle before taking a big gulp of his beer. Danielle and probably everyone else noticed that Cody was acting slightly weird ever since their argument yesterday. He's been avoiding eye contact and saying things that were quite offensive or harsh. Emma had to calm him down earlier as he was trying to pull an argument with Lucy.
"The only dramatic person here is you," Stefania said before kissing Danielle on the lips and walking back to the kitchen.
"Whatever you say, princess," Cody took another gulp while Danielle gave him a death stare.
"Don't talk to her like that," Danielle stood up from the couch. Her voice was between a whisper and a shout, deep and rumbling.
"Don't tell me what to do, Savre," Cody gave Danielle another look before focusing on the TV screen.
"There's seriously something wrong with you today," Danielle looked around the living room, but everyone except Lucy seemed to be more interested in the movie than Cody's weird behavior. She gave Danielle a comforting look while Danielle just shook her head and walked out of the living room.
"He likes you," Stefania said as soon as Danielle came into the kitchen.
"Who?" Danielle nervously laughed while trying to read the tone in Stefania's voice.
"Your friend Cody," She casually said with hands on her hips.
"That's not true," Danielle said before taking a handful of popcorns and putting them in her mouth.
"He gets visually irritated whenever I come near you, and I'm not even talking about the look on his face when I touch you," Stefania felt her body temperature rising as she watched Danielle put a finger in her mouth.
"What are you doing?" Stefania asked while trying to ignore the tingling feeling in between her legs.
"There's caramel on them," Danielle innocently said as she put another finger in her mouth and then slowly sucked on it.
"Next time, you should let me do that," Stefania quietly said to herself, but from the smile on Danielle's face, she understood that it was louder than intended.
"That's not a bad idea," Danielle's smile got even wider as she saw the look on Stefania's face and how hard she was trying to control herself.
"As I was saying," Stefania took a deep breath before continuing. "There's this raging look on his face whenever I touch you, and as someone who also has a massive crush on you, I recognize it as a form of jealousy,"
"Is that stopping you from touching me?" Danielle asked as she stopped only a few inches away from Stefania.
"No," Stefania quickly said.
"Then why are you not touching me yet?" Danielle whispered into Stefania's ear right before gently biting into her ear lobe.
Stefania let out a quiet moan. She felt shivers going up and down her body as Danielle left wet yet soft kisses on her neck and bare shoulder. Every small spot where Danielle's lips traveled felt like burning, and it made Stefania's heart sink.
Stefania placed her hands on Danielle's hips and quickly turned them around, pushing Danielle against the kitchen wall. She put one hand on the back of Danielle's head while the other one was still resting on her hip.
"Mine," Stefania said as she pulled Danielle into a passionate kiss that quickly left both of them breathless.
"So much confidence," Danielle said in between kisses while Stefania's hands found their way under Danielle's t-shirt.
"Stop me if it gets too much," Stefania said as she let her fingers explore the still unknown territory of Danielle's body. They slowly traveled Danielle's back, abs, and even up to her breasts. Danielle's breathing was getting heavy again, and even though she didn't say a word, Stefania felt the blonde's body tensing up. She gave Danielle one last kiss before taking a step back.
"Why did you stopped?" Danielle asked as she reached for Stefania's hand.
"Are we getting that popcorn or not?!" Marcus yelled from the living room.
"I think we should go back before he storms off the kitchen," Stefania gave Danielle a quick smile.
"Sure," While Danielle was fixing her hair and t-shirt, Stefania grabbed three bowls of popcorn and walked out of the kitchen without even looking back at Danielle.
Even though Stefania was not here anymore, Danielle could still feel her presence. She could still feel her scent in the air and her touch on the skin.
