Harry's POV
I wake up the next morning and blink. I am suddenly confused as to where I am and then I realize im with my lou next to me.
I turn around quietly to not wake him and stare at him. he looks so cute when he's sleeping. apparently he can sense me staring at him.
"I know you're staring harry and it's creepy" he says with his eyes still closed.
"how the- huh?" I ask confused
"hazza, I know you." he replies opening his eyes
"alright you got me." I laugh. "good morning lou"
"good morning love" he kisses me
we both get out of bed and ready to go back on the tour bus. we have a concert in new york at Madison Square Garden and apparently that's one of the largest stadiums in the world. a few minutes later, lou and I are dressed and head downstairs to meet the other boys.
we get on the tour bus and since we got up early, I decide to take a nap.

Louis' POV
Tonight I was thinking of proposing to Hazza. we've been through a lot but we came out stronger and better than ever. so I gather all the boys while harry is napping.
"lads. can I talk with you all for a few minutes?" I ask them
"sure mate. but shouldn't you wait for harry?" Liam asks.
"actually, this is about harry." I say.
"alright.. what happened? did he hurt you? I swear to god if he-" I cut Niall off
"No Niall. he didn't hurt me."
"then what did you want to talk about?" Zayn asks
I take a deep breath before responding.
"I want to propose to Harry." I say quickly but slow enough for them to hear.
their mouths dropped open. they were shocked.
"really lou?" Niall said.
"yeah. we've been through a lot and I don't want to lose him again. can you guys help me? I was planning on proposing at our show tonight." I say
"of course we'll help. a captain never leaves his ship." Niall says
I laugh. "thanks lads. do you think we could go get a ring when we get in New York?"
"yeah. we just gotta tell Paul." zayn says.
"and James. since he is our manager." niall says.
so, I tell Paul and also James. and obviously they're both happy for me and haz.
when we get into New York, we decided that zayn and I should go with Paul to the jewelry store to get the ring.

Harry's POV
I wake up and realize lou isn't on the bus.
"lou?" I call out
"not here at the moment haz." Liam says
"where is he?" I start to panic and he notices this.
"calm down. he and zayn are out exploring the city." Liam says.
"oh. ok" I say immediately relaxing
"also, for the concert tonight, put on your best outfit." Niall says
"o....k. why?" I ask suspiciously. they're up to something
"you'll find out tonight." Niall says almost too enthusiastically.
"ok then...." I respond

.-.Concert night.-.
"HELLO MSG!!! HOW ARE WE ALL FEELING??" I scream into the microphone.
the crowd goes wild. they weren't lying when they said that MSG is a huge stadium.
"we're so glad you all could be here. it means a lot to us. you all are amazing. im going to stop talking now. please sing along if you know this song, it's called ready to run." I say as the music starts up.
There's a lightning in your eyes I can't deny
Then there's me inside a sinking boat, running out of time
Without Lou I'll never make it out alive
I change the lyrics and the boys catch this. Louis just blushes.

Lou turns to me and sings this part at me.
the song finishes and I go sit with the boys on the stage as Lou speaks.
