Mirai's POV

It's been ten minutes since I keep on avoiding the cursed spirit's attack, I can't use my cursed energy, or else he will absorb it and use it against me. The cursed spirit started laughing while continued attacking me, I was getting annoyed by it so I threw my sword towards him stabbing its chest. He scream in pain and I take that chance to appear in front of him, pushing the holy blade and him until we reached the wall. I forcedly pushed him as the blade got stuck in the concrete wall, he tried to escape but the blade didn't let him, only to feel pain around him. The cursed spirit screeched making me cover my ears and another scream can be heard.

" Mirai! Exorcise it already to prevent them from becoming one!" I heard Suguro yelled making me hurriedly back away and started placing my hand together.

" Cursed Technique, release: Sacred Barrier" A golden light started to surround him, I wince in pain when I felt his strong aura inside the barrier. He is fighting back, I focused my cursed energy towards the barrier making it stronger, but he doesn't want to give up, he started to remove the blade despite the immense pain he's feeling.

I already knew that if he remove the blade, he will destroy the barrier, then I had no choice but to use my domain expansion. I still have enough cursed energy left, I then sighed before placing both of my hands in the ground and summoned my domain expansion. The cursed spirit flinch when he saw me staring at him with a cold look, when the both of us are already inside my domain expansion, I slowly approached him before pulling my sacred sword back. Before I exorcise him, a sudden fear can be seen in his face and I also feel chills down in my spine.

My eyes widened when the domain expansion turned into black color, the Sacred Heaven shouldn't have turned into a dark color because of its sacred power, but what's this feeling? A feeling of unease and fear, I then looked at the cursed spirit and he was shaking in fear, a chuckle can be heard as the cursed spirit got thorn splashing its blood towards me. I didn't have the time to be confused and hurriedly grabbed my sword, another enemy came. It dominates my domain expansion, which means he is stronger than me.

" Till we meet again if you survived, Little Hinami." A man's voice can be heard as the black mist disappeared, I was frozen on my spot, not lowering my guard. Whose voice was that? " What happened to you!?" A very loud voice of Hoshi can be heard at the entrance of our dorm. We didn't expect her to be outside the place, reading books and also waiting for us. She stand up and grabbed my shoulder while shaking me. Suguro who was standing beside me chuckled.

" I will if you let go of Mirai, her brain will be destroyed if you keep on doing that," Suguro said making Hoshi let go of me, I felt like my whole world was shaking, and even if she stopped my head was still shaking.
