Chapter 67

Mirai's POV
Another day to work with the documents, I already decided on who will lead the five groups of sorcerer in our clan. Since it was divided with different groups, it was easier for me to pick one person to lead. Next, will be the exchanging ceremony that will be held tomorrow. Everyone was so busy in preparing and I also need to prepare the reports to pass. Since the high rank sorcerers want to test my skills in handling documents. Those old folks really rely on old methods, I just want them to be changed.

I sighed, I keep on having headaches since this morning, Satoru even called me because he is worried but I reassured him. It's rare for me to be sick but it's weird that I feel tired also my stomach feels sick that it made me want to vomit. I leaned my head to my desk and closed my eyes.

" You should visit a doctor." I felt a hand on my head making me humn and raised my head to see Shiro and Kuro standing in front of me. They've been resting for a whole week since I don't have a mission given by the old folks.

" Shoko is very busy today, though I can manage it." I replied making Kuro sighed before gently pinching my cheek.

" That woman is not the only doctor, just visit a hospital." He said making me whine and pushed his hands.

" Finee, but don't pinch my cheek. I'm not a kid anymore." I grunted making him scoff and the two of them looked at me with gentle eyes.
" Why're you looking at me like that?"

" Nah, you're still a kid. But I think time will come and you're not anymore." Kuro said making me just faced them with curiousity and smiled.

" Seriously, what's wrong with you two."

" Just go to the hospital, and remember take care of yourself starting now." Shiro said that it made me more curious though I didn't asked them and stand up.

" Don't worry, I feel a bit tired maybe I really need to see a doctor." I said. " I'll be back after the check up, please tell Saki-san that I'll visit a doctor."

" Yah yah, don't worry. Just call us if something will happen." Kuro said, I smiled and grabbed my bag before bidding goodbye. Since the two of them are worried, I should just visit the doctor and come back as soon as possible.

I was waiting in the line after the nurse assesed me, all the questions are weird but I answered it all. I'm also done with my laboratories, but it made me confused since all the patients are womens andsome are even pregnant. Did the nurse made a mistake in referring me to a doctor? I just shrugged it off and waited for my turn to be called. While waiting I grabbed my phone and started checking some places to do some missions. It's been a while since I exorcised a cursed spirit, and since the old folks liked my report they finally accepted me as the new leader of the Hinami.

I really put my effort since I hate sending reports to them, Satoru even want to meet them and talk to them but I stopped him to avoid creating a ruckus. Seriously, when will they be removed from their seats, they don't deserve to be called the high rank elderly when all of them smells of blood.

" Hinami Mirai-san. Please come inside." One nurse called for me making me stand up and entered while thanking her. The doctor was sitting on her chair checking some papers before  facing me with a smile.

" Please sit down Hinami-san. I have some good news for you." She said making me smile in relief before thanking her. " So let me check your paper for a while, you said that you felt tired and nauseous for the past three days, even feeling headaches frequently."

" Yes Doc, my friends are kinda worried about me and told me to visit a doctor." I replied, I don't want to tell her that it was Kuro and Shiro who recommended it to me.

" Hmm, I see. Did you also vomit or even feel lazy at all times?" She asked again making me politely shook my head. " Well, that's good to hear. Your laboratory result is also good, and you might hear a good result, but it's bad that you're alone today. Where's your husband?" She suddenly asked making me blush. Husband? Saturu? Why is he lookin for him?

" U-uhm, he's in work right now." I replied, she just humned before smiling.

" Well then, I might congatulate you right now Hinami-san. You're pregnant." Everything stopped for a while before my senses came back.

" Hai?"

" You're pregnant." She said, it took me for a while before realizing it and a smile appeared on my lips before touching my belly. " You're one week pregnant, but I was amazed you only experienced few symptoms, didn't you notice your period halting for a month?"

" Next week should be my next period."

" Hmm, well it's good that you heard the good news before knowing it by yourself." She said with a proud tone making me chuckle, still I can't believe that Satoru and I will be expecting a child. Though, I don't know how to tell Satoru about our child, I'm kinda scared.

" I'm happy to hear that also, Doc."

" It's your first time so please take care of yourself. Do some light exercises and avoid excessive work, don't stress yourself. Being pregnant might be complicated as your belly grows. Also, eat nutritious food." She said without stopping making me smile and thank her.

" I will not give you supplements, but see me after two months. Of course with your husband."

" I will, thank you so much Doc."

" You may go, see you after two months." I bowed politely before saying my goodbye. After going out from the hospital, I sighed. Now, what will I do, should I tell the good news to everyone? Or I'll wait after the exchanging ceremony before telling to Satoru. I nod my head, that's a good idea, after the exchange ceremony and if he returns from his mission I will tell him.

" So what did that human healer said." A voice said making me flinch in shock.

" Geez, please don't do that next time, you'll scare the baby." I said and start rubbing my stomach.

" Tch, now wonder we felt another life inside of you." Kuro said.

" So when will you tell Satoru about that?" Shiro asked while pointing at my stomach making me raised my eyebrows before sighing.

" So the two of you knew I was pregnant?" I asked and they both nod. " That's why you told me to visit a doctor?" They both nod their head again making me sigh.

" It's better to confirm it." Shiro said making me hum in response. " So, is it a boy or a girl?"

" My dear shikigami, it's not yet time to reveal the gender. Let's wait after three months after the baby is fully developed." The two of them looked disappointed making me smile and wrapped my arms around their shoulder.

" Let's eat shall we. I want to eat something to celebrate my pregnancy. Also, please don't reveal it to everyone." I said making the two of them just looked at me before smiling.

" Do whatever you want."

I was never expecting to hear such a good news but at the same time I was afraid of something. Everything is not yet over, Kenjaku is running wild right now. We need to settle everything before Satoru and my child will be born and ended up dealing Kenjaku. I want our child to grew up without facing him in the future, my duties right now is to prevent that from happening. Protecting our child's future is now important for me.

Wahhh, I planned on writing this as the next chapter but I don't want to make this story take long. So I'll make the plot a bit faster.

Also Mirai is pregnant. I hope she will be able to tell it to Satoru.
