"Throughout history, we have heard of great gods who have stood tall and faced many battles, controlled the sea to their pleasure, and even some heroes who were born and given to humans. But in this story, we shall not talk about Hercules and Poseidon, oh no we shall not...but we shall talk about the sun lord and the moon princess.

Seems a bit romantic doesn't it? Well, it sure is. Romance, more Romance, and more Romance...and okay a bit of violence, cheating, and perhaps death...

"The god dies?"

"I thought Gods don't die"

oh, what did you say? Gods don't die? Oh no no...the lover boy does not die here. He's pretty much alive.

So what happens in the end?

Oh, no let us slow down a bit. They're a long way before the end..."

The Kingdom Of The Sun was crowded with busy streets and youths running here and there. The markets were filled with various stores, each a shade of yellow to resemble the symbol of the kingdom.

Adrien made his way through the crowd, ducking behind every objective he could find. Life living in the palace was nothing like this. Elegance outside but hatred in, the palace was like a cage, where he was kept in. His mother wouldn't have let any of this happen to him if she was there... but she wasn't and there was nothing else he could do about it.

What he needed was happiness which couldn't be found in the palace but here in the town. He needed some love, someone, to care for, and maybe his best friend, and that was whom he was sneaking to.

Nino Lahiffe, the blacksmith's son was busy trying to get some girl's attention. As Max, the son of the librarian, said: there was a 99.999% chance she will neglect him. But Nino wasn't going to listen to a nerd who thinks he could foretell the future. Scratch that, he should have listened.

Alex Kubdel was the last person you will choose to flirt with. Her last date with Lê Chiến Kim ended with his arm halfway broken. And today, Nino didn't even have luck on his side. One look at Alex, he knew it would be damn hard to impress her.

"What you doing here?" Alex asked taking a good look at Nino.

"Umm...I'm Nino" Nino said quickly.

This was his last chance to get a girl and he better get one. Alex wasn't the girl of his kind. She had short pink hair (strictly not allowed but she never listened), a determined face, a very strong personality, and the only girl olympian. Nino wasn't anything like her. He had black hair, a cheeky personality, and wasn't much of a sporty. But music was his kind. Give him the lyrics and he'll find the beat. Ya, he was pretty cool. But definitely not cool enough for Alex.

"First thing you need to know is If you want my love, you got to impress me. And watch it, I don't get impressed by stupid things like money...money is worthless to me. I need passion and strength." Alex told him. She pulled out a whistle from her pocket and blew it. "5-mile run! run! run! run!"

Alarmed by her sudden yell, Nino began running at full pace.

"Told you he will die," Max said to Kim.

While Nino was running his heart out, Adrien found himself in a crowd of people.

He had lost his way and was afraid of asking someone for help in case they recognized him and send him back to the palace. He saw a few people crowding around a platform. Curious, he also turned in that direction.

On the platform was a man, not too young and not too old. He held a whip in his hand. The whip gave Adrien a feeling that he wasn't going to like this show.

"Welcome one and all, I have a show for you. The HALL OF SLAVES shall begin!!" the man yelled.

"Slaves?" Adrien asked himself.

What he saw next was terrible.

Slaves, wearing loose clothes and chains attached to their hands. They looked as if they hadn't eaten for days. The man whipped them and the crowd began roaring cold-heartedly. He began whipping again and again and once again the crowd roared yelling for more.

One of the slaves began begging for the man but the man, having no heart, began whipping more and more. Adrien couldn't take it anymore.

He ran off to the stage and grabbed the whip.

"How dare you?!" He yelled at Adrien.

"I command you to leave them alone!" Adrien said removing his hood, in particular revealing his face.

The man was rather taken aback by seeing his face and stammered, "y-your majesty" he bowed.

most of the crowd hurried out of there, afraid of being punished.

"Who allowed you to perform this?" Adrien asked, sternly.

"Y-your father sir" the man responded humbly.

"My father?" Adrien asked.

He hesitated before continuing, "From now on, I don't want you performing this until orders are out."

"Hey, Adrien!" yelled a voice.

Adrien turned to see Nino, the first time, running.

"Nino will take the slaves for some cleaning and get them some homes" Adrien added, "if that's okay with you, Nino?"

"Ya, no problem," Nino said, "Anything to get away from that run"

"HEY, WHERE DID YOU GO?! THAT'S NOT EVEN 2 MILES!!" they heard Alex yell.

Adrien smirked and began making his way to the castle.

"Where are you going, bro?" Nino asked

"To my father"
