"Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why-" A girl continued repeating the same word over and over again. Weep and cries are all around the room. The room is cold, depressive air raising each and every second of the girl's weep and cries.

"Shhhh, hey, hey, it's okay, he's okay, I'm okay, you are okay..." Another voice comfort the poor, weeping girl. The voice comes from a older boy who seems to help comforted the smaller girl. The boy have a sweet, soft voice. The boy have concern face for the smaller girl. Her hair looks a mess, her runny nose and tear stained cheeks are tinted with fade red, and the girl's voice cracked into whimpers, tiredness, and scared.

Not after a few minute later, a creak of an opening door interrupted the tense, depressive air. Another boy entered the room, with bruises, blood, and fade red marks on the face. The boy looks to be as young as the whimpering girl. The older boy gasped after drifting his attention to the entering boy.

"Brother! You're hurt! Come, let me help you!" The older boy told to the younger boy as he grasped the younger boy's forearm, making the younger boy hissed in pain.

"Stop it! I don't need your stupid help! Leave me alone!" The younger boy snap in annoyance, taking his forearm back to his chest and his snap turns into a pain whimpered.

"Please brother, I beg you, let me help you..." The older boy told his brother and this time holding his brother's hand gently. The younger boy shows a frustrated and upset face but finally gave in and let his older brother patch him up.

"Thank you..." The older boy said, smiling to him softly, and slowly bring his brother to the soft bed. The poor, whimpering girl that have just recovered from her cries, looked over to the young boy with a slight shocked pity, and tears filled her eyes once again as she rushed to both boys with a pain cry.

Both boys looked over to the small girl who is hugging the older brother's leg, not wanting to let go. Both boys are panicking with slight shocked, making the older brother went into action. He picked the small girl on his arm, and rocked her softly, trying to comfort the girl once again. The older boy whispered to the girl nothing but sweet compliments, comfort words, making the girl slowly feeling sleepy.

The older boy put the girl on the bed next to the younger boy. After putting the girl gently next to both boys, the older boy bandage the young boy's bruising arms while humming sweet melody.

Cleaning the bruises and the bloody area with alcohol making the young boy wince in pain and bandaging the clean bruises and injuries with bandages and medical plasters on the forearms, head, and cheek is quite the challenge but in the end, the covering results is worth it.

After all of those bandages and medical help, the younger boy felt tired. The older boy just smiled and chuckled at the sleepy boy's face. He picked a pillow to put under the tired boy and adjusting both boy and girl into a nice and more comfortable sleeping position.

After the older brother make sure both younger boy and girl have slept, "Don't worry both of you, I will find a way to get us out of this cruel world. I promise to both of you, I will get us out." The older boy whispered to both children, tucking the girl's messy hair to the back of her ear, making him once again, smile softly at both. He then left the children's room with a soft smile saying, "Sleep tight and good night y'all troublemakers.." And left the room.

Unknowingly, a smile make it to a face of a young, half asleep boy. 'I trust you and your promise, brother...'

He faced his sister to look at the peaceful sight of her sleeping with her giraffe dolly named Emily. He chuckled quietly and hug her, promising one thing in his mind, 'I would always protect you sis..' and drifted into a deep slumber.
