"I hope you know Drew was wrong, Death Boy. I don't like you," Will said. My heart plummeted. Then what were the kisses? Will chuckled, and then continued. "I definitely don't like you. I love you. I've loved you since I saw you fight in the Second Titan War. And I'll love you until we end up in the underworld. I looked up to you, Nico. It broke my heart to hear about what you had to go through recently; trudging through Tartarus alone, being cooped up in a jar alone, bringing the Athena Parthenos back to Camp-," I cut Will off with a kiss, effectively silencing him. During his spiel, I was gathering up courage, and I had finally found enough. I stood up on my tippy toes and pressed my lips onto Will's, letting his warmth seep into my body. Will was making me sound like some sort of hero, which I wasn't. He was talking about me the same way I used to think about Percy Jackson. Will moaned and wrapped his arms around my midsection, pulling me off the ground. He fell backwards and I landed on top of him. I scrambled off of him, and Will let me, relinquishing me from his arms. "I'm not some hero. I'm not some person to look up to," I informed Will. "Shut up, Death Boy! Don't belittle yourself. You are the most amazing person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Better than Percy, Jason, or even Zeus." Thunder rumbled overhead, but it did little to stop Will. "You are the most powerful demigod I know, Nico, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise." I was unable to stop the tears from flowing. Will got up and wrapped his arms around me. "But I think you would look more powerful in something other than a tropical shirt, Darlin'," Will said. "It's the only shirt I have, Sunshine," I growled sarcastically. Will smiled at the nickname. He then picked me up, threw me over his shoulder, and brought me towards the Apollo cabin. I swore. Multiple times. Very loudly. "That sailor mouth of yours is going to get you in trouble one of these days, Neeks." I grumbled and gave up trying to fight Will's strong grip in my less-than-perfect fighting position. Even from far away, I was still blinded by the sunlight bouncing off the cabin and making it shine golden. Will swung open the door and carried me in, setting me down just inside the doorway. The cabin looked normal, meaning what Nico pictured a normal cabin to look like; the complete opposite of the vampire-like Hades cabin that I still hadn't gotten around to redecorating. There were many sets of bunk beds and one solitary twin-sized bed sitting on the wooden floor. Lots of natural sunlight poured in from the many windows on the walls. Will walked over to the twin bed, the one without a bunk, and pulled out a chest from under it. "Counselor perks," Will said, referring to him not having to sleep under or on top of anyone else. Will dug through the chest and pulled out a crumpled up Camp Half-Blood shirt from the very bottom. "Here," he said, handing me the wadded shirt. "This is too small to fit me, but it will still be a little big on you." I took the shirt and stood there, feeling awkward. "Do you not like it?" Will asked after a moment. "No. I just...uhh..." "Oh! You want me to turn around, right. Okay, Neeks. I don't see what the big deal is, though." Will gave me a big, goofy grin, making me blush, and spun around, putting the rest of his clothes back in the chest and pushing it under the bed. Meanwhile, I pulled off my tropical shirt and put on Will's orange one. Will turned around as I finished pulling down the shirt that went down to the middle of my thighs. "C'mon," he said. "It's almost time for the campfire. Will grabbed a yellow sweatshirt off of his bed and ran out the door with me trailing a couple feet behind him. When we got to the campfire, just about everyone was already there. I quickly located Percy, Jason, Piper, and Annabeth by the obnoxious laughter coming from one area. I followed Will over to them. There was only enough room for one person, so Will sat down and I moved to stand in the shadows behind the five friends. Left out again, di Angelo. Big surprise. "Why don't you just sit on Will's lap?" Jason asked me. I blushed at the same time as Will. Will gave me a grin and patted his lap. I frowned and walked over to the other side of the campfire, taking a seat next to some younger campers, who smiled at me as I sat down. I could hear Piper scolding Jason for chasing me away. From across the campfire, Will showed me a cute pout and patted his lap again. I gave him the finger and frowned when Will started laughing. The Apollo cabin ran sing-alongs, but Will did not participate. Instead he spent the entire campfire staring at me while smirking. I stared back, giving him the death glare, but Will wasn't scared by it. I pretended not to notice Jason grinning widely from next to Will as his gaze traveled back and forth between the two of us. I unwillingly shivered despite it being the summer and Will frowned. Tonight was uncharacteristically cold. Or maybe I just missed my aviator's jacket. A couple of minutes passed and then the campfire ended with Chiron telling everybody to go back to their cabins. I got up and was halfway to the Hades cabin when a hand grabbed my shoulder and spun me around, surprising me. "That was quite some gesture," Will said, looking me in the eyes. "I would've given you my seat, Nico. I could've moved over. You didn't have to go and sit on the other side of the fire." "It's fine, really. It wasn't that big of a deal." I looked around and noticed that we were the only two people not in our cabins yet. I shivered again and was about to bid Will goodnight, except he started to take off his sweatshirt. He forced it over my head and I put my arms through the holes, knowing better than to try and stop him. "What are you doing, Solace?" I grumbled, using the Death Glare on Will. He only laughed and ruffled my hair. Planting a kiss on my forehead, Will said, "Goodnight, Neeks." "William," I grumbled after Will had turned his back to me and had taken a couple steps. Will quickly spun around, his face red. He pressed his warm lips to mine as he pulled up my hood. "Now, off to bed before you catch a cold. Or try to get me to kiss you again," Will said, smirking. +++ Once in the Hades cabin, I threw myself on my bed, suddenly exhausted. I pulled the blankets up around my head and closed my eyes. Will's yellow sweatshirt was so warm that I fell asleep almost instantaneously. The sweatshirt smelled like Will; sunshine and warmth, if that was possible. Maybe I just needed someone after Percy, or maybe the whole world looked brighter when he was around, or maybe it was the fact that he actually liked me back, but I was quickly falling in love with Will Solace. I smiled and drifted off to sleep. I kissed Will Solace! Four times! I had my first kiss with Will Solace! I kissed Will Solace! Four Times! I had my first kiss with...
