Ch. 3
Qetsiyah
A Realm Door essentially just a door to a realm. These Doors change locations randomly once a month. Some stay in the same vicinity others move across the hemisphere.
No creature except for Omni Jumpers, Water Dragons, and Shadow Phoenix can travel to the realms. And I am not one of them, so I will have to find a Door.
Each realm has 5 doors and those 5 doors all enter the realm in a different place inside of the realm. There are people who have the specific job of locating these realms and relaying that information to others. The job pays a lot—if you can do it correctly.
And right now, I need going to find one. I believe there are two doors for the Mandisya realm that have yet to move. (Yes, these doors move regularly!) Which means that all I have to do is find a map.
I made my way to my car with Naelah flying above. I drove to a library in downtown and parked my car. I stepped out and walked over to the bulletin board. There should be an updated map pinned to the board. The map, of course, is a magical one, so it can't be seen by regular humans. I say regular because there are humans with this ability called The View. This ability lets them see through the supernatural veil and makes them immune to magic.
It looks like the closest door that leads to Mandisya is in Athens, Ohio. Okay, that's only like 5 states away. Which means now I have to find a Transporter. Great!
Transporters are essentially just teleporters. The difference between Transporters and Omni Jumpers are that Omni Jumpers can only teleport from realm to realm and Human Earth to other realms, so they can't teleport from like Sweden to Bolivia. While Transporters can teleport from anywhere to anywhere in the realm they are in and anywhere to anywhere on Earth, so they can't teleport from Mondisya to Earth. Which means that there are a lot of Transporters, but not many Omni Jumpers.
I stayed put for a couple of minutes knowing that some Transporters like to keep a lookout near realm maps for potential customers.
I heard some eager steps come my way and tilted to my left to make age contact with a brown skinned orange eyed guy. He smiled at me and opened his mouth only to be shoved by a girl.
"No sir. You stole my customer last time so I get her." Said the girl
"Hmm I don't know... Are you sure you can handle it?" The guy questioned back
"What do you mean?" She asked
"I mean the last time you were stuck jumping an attractive girl you were a stumbling mess and accidentally took her to the bridge leading to the Hum'ngcuh instead of Miami." He replied. I raised my eyebrow at this. The Hum'ngcuh is a place filled with banished monsters. Many have been paid to go explore and almost none have come back. If they did come back they weren't the same. I don't plan on going there anytime soon. Positive thing though is that she is probably an Omni Jumper, so I'll be able to get where I need to go a lot faster.
The girl swung her head over to me. With a smile on her face she said, "That was 3 months ago! I've been working on it so It's alright. you'll be safe with me." I gave her a hesitant smile and grabbed her hand while letting her know I needed to get to Ronsq, Mandisya.
We got there safely, just like she promised. I thanked the girl, tipped her, and went on my way. I checked into the specified inn and followed their directions to my room. Once I got inside, I took out a snack from my go back and munched on it. I slowly walked around my room taking it in and making sure that nothing was wrong. There was a full bed that was pushed to the side, a small closet, a large mirror directly across the bed, a pale brown dresser, grey carpeted floors, a window, and a tiny stocked bathroom. Naelah perched herself on the window and took a nap.
After I was done with my room check, I unpacked the rest of the stuff from my bag.

NeroOne day later
Seraphina proved to be very annoying, but she got us to where we needed to be, so I'll give her that. The whole journey didn't take very long. She teleported us to a location and we had to walk the rest of the way to the base.
When we got to the place two people in matching grey uniforms came out to personally greet us with their weapons lifted. They led us inside and were the perfect guides and motivators as they used the tip of their guns to push us along.
Seraphina seemed bored as if this was an everyday routine for her and hey maybe it was. My grandmother is very hospitable to her people. It's something that will always keep you on your toes.
The two people led us to a door. One of them opened it and the other pushed me in. I was met with a bed. I turned around to the door slamming in my face. How nice of them to close it for me I thought to myself.
I turned back around and shrugged off my socks and shoes. Than I followed by throwing myself onto my bed with a loud sigh. This will be absolutely lovely.

6 hours later...
I huffed out a deep breath as I started walking down the street. The contract that my grandmother made me sign felt heavy around my wrist. Maybe it was because I was scared to be under her control again or maybe it was simply because there was a new type of weight added to my wrist. I'm hoping it's the second. Any type of fear that I still have for my grandmother will definitely be used against me.
The only thing that kept me from finding someone to break it off of me was because of the reason I signed the contract. It's for them. I need to warn them of what's coming their way.
I will go under cover and give my grandmother the information that she needs as long as she tells me their whereabouts.
I don't trust her. I never did, but this all seems a little much. She said that she wouldn't kill me, but I can't help replaying our conversation.
"Why would I kill my little spy? Hmm?" She asked
I clenched my jaw. A small voice inside of my head told me not to trust her, but I have tried everything thing I can. She is the last resort. They don't want to be found. They didn't trust me, they didn't trust each other, and they definitely didn't trust our grandmother. Which was all for good reason, but I can't help but think I'm going about this the wrong way.
"Why do you think that I would trust you?"
"You're right. I've raised you better than that" she said with a quirk of her lips. Then she continued on with, "Putting aside personal stuff, which I've trained you to do, I can tell that you are an asset. You can go undercover and find out what has been stealing my precious sharks. In exchange I will tell you where they are."
"How do I trust that you won't lie." I questioned her.
"We'll sign a blood contract." She replied.
"Okay." I said
She smiled at me.
After that we pricked our fingers and pressed them together. It only takes a couple of seconds until the whole thing is finished. Blood contracts can come in many forms, it just depends on the importance. Less important ones won't take a physical form. The moment you break the blood contract the other person is alerted and depending on the severity you might possibly die.
I knew this one person who had the contract linked to his eye. He broke the contract and his eye was taken along with it. In my case, I would lose my hand if I broke my contract with my grandmother, but knowing my grandmother she'd also try to take my life. She hates broken promises.
I walked up the steps and checked into the inn. The directions said that the mission would be revealed at 7:05 on Tuesday. It was Monday, so I had some time to kill. I walked up to my room and took a shower. I didn't bother to unpack what little I had because we might have to leave when the mission comes.
After I was finished with my shower, I went downstairs to get some food.
