"Becca!" i hear from across the library i turn to see my best friend Katie running over to me the librarian shushes her

"sorry." she says while looking at the librarian while still coming towards me beck beck beck beck guess what?" I looked at her beautiful long blond hair and her bright green eyes. The ideal thought of perfection she was and is a jaw dropper as lots of the guys say. I still don't know how she and I became friends but we did. I spoke as she reached me.

"Let me guess, is it about the new guy in school?" I asked her while peeking my tiny nose from the book that I was reading. I pushed my glasses up my nose and looked at her. She rolled her eyes at me while smiling from ear to ear.

"How do you know everything before I do?" she asked i closed my book cause obviously i am gonna get nowhere in it with this conversation we are about to go into i pushed a piece of my dark auburn hair behind my ear before speaking

"Well let's see about 5 minutes before you came to me 3 girls came running in talking about how gorgeous this guy is and how he is just the right amount of sexy." she started laughing i shook my head checking the time to make sure i was not gonna be late for dance class as i grabbed my bag to shove my book in it i asked

" well what else do you know because why would this guy come to his first day of school during final period?" i knew my question sparked an interest in her the way she gleamed at me and spoke in a somewhat high pitched tone at me

"oh my god! yes okay so today is not his first day at school it is his tour day but he was walking with his dad around looking at all the unoccupied class rooms and he walked past the library, stopped looked in the window and stared at you for what seemed like forever that is until he noticed i was standing there." she was leaning her chin on her hand by the time i looked up i scrunched up my nose in just plane old confusion i mean what could he be looking at me for i'm wearing my ripped up baggy jeans with my fathers baggy grey sweatshirt on with my hair up in a messy bun just trying to read quietly in the stacks is there something wrong with that? I looked at her.

"why was he looking at me? how do you know he was looking at me and not just the library?" Kate let out a giggle that she has many times before her signature giggle at that.

"oh well the only reason i know he was looking at you is because I was looking for you and like trust me i should know when a guy is looking at you duh." i just nodded while zipping up my backpack and standing up and throwing it over my shoulder coming face to face with Kate she sighed loudly

" let me guess cant be late for dance can we?" i nodded my head as i told her

"i haven't missed a dance class before and it wont start now and you know it so why would you think i would start now?" I said as I reached into my side pocket grabbing my car keys and started walking out towards the door to get to the student parking lot. Kate followed me and groaned dragging her feet

"Well, because I want to spend time with my best friend and admire a hot new guy together." i turned to look at her and spoke with a little annoyance in my voice

"Listen, you know I don't do the boy thing because I don't care, I have more important things to attend to then googling over some guy who won't even give me a second look, but you on the other hand would beg and plead to let him into your pants." she let out the loudest laugh while trying to speak

"wow look at becca coming out with a snippy tongue i like this side of you." as we were walking past the office to get to the student parking lot the door opened up and i looked up to meet the most beautiful brown eyes and that's when all i thought was
