"...so? What do you think, Omega?"

"..."

A shiver ran down my spine as I stared into this being's cold, yet radiant eyes. They were still and unmoving, almost as if they were judging me. It gave me the feeling of being a child who had to share their book report in front of class, and never having read the book.

It's as if I am staring into the embodiment of the future, who was adorned with an otherworldly white cloak and jumpsuit, surrounded by an assortment of constantly shifting hues that I both recognize, and didn't—as if I couldn't fully perceive or comprehend the appearance of what was before me.

Sasuga.

The room—if you could call it that—we were in had no signs of life. It was more like an ethereal void where, curiously enough, I was still able to see myself and Omega despite the lack of light.

The silence was haunting, not because I felt like I was in danger, but because I couldn't feel anything. This sense of neutrality reminded me once more that I'm dealing with a truly indifferent being, making my goals all the more difficult. Not that I planned to give up.

But this silence....please say something!

"...you do realize I am an OBSERVER, correct?"

"Of course!"

I mean, that's exactly why I decided to approach you!

"Then, you must know that I'm pretty aware of- well, everything. Right?"

"Yes! That's why I sought your assistance for this matter."

This being, Omegaα, shook their head.

"...then do you really think I'd buy that the 'group' you've nurtured is something akin to AKB48?"

Ah.

"Your smile is cramping."

I forgot...

It seems my whole speech was for nothing then. Of course they would know the truth about my company.

I suppose I sounded more like I was trying to convince myself, than the other party. We both know, however, that this 'group' doesn't quite fit the image I may have initially dreamt up.

And in all honestly, I feel it's better that way. The success of said group speaks for itself.

Now if only they could rein in their 'quirks' a bit more, I wouldn't be so troubled.

"In truth, Tanigo-san, I already knew why you came," Omega says, hovering a bit closer to me. "You wish to open up a new 'branch' for your company, yes?"

"Ah, yes. That's right," I say. "After careful consideration from our staff, management-"

"-and Coco-san bugging you unceasingly, driving you and your organization nearly insane from her antics."

Ahem!

"-and Coco-san kindly requesting us to broaden our horizons, we decided to develop an English branch."

In all honesty, she was definitely the trigger to the idea. Coco is a pretty headstrong and stubborn individual, which most of us in the company personally admire. Her being a huge success as an english and japanese speaker only proved the potential our company can stretch to. She can be very convincing.

Especially so when she camps outside your office.

"And you want me to assist you in this endeavor, correct?"
